Cécile (Yi)Learn Chinese Culture and Language - Mandarin
Hello, law student and philosophy (master), I offer private lessons Mandarin. Of Shanghainese origin, I offer my services to those who are interested in Chinese language and culture.
My goal is to advance the linguistic knowledge of the student without overloading him, and while remaining in a playful atmosphere. In order for the linguistic experience to be enriching and interesting, I integrate, in addition, cultural, literary and social elements in this course.
In general, classes consist of four parts: oral, written, audition and cultural understanding. For those who are starting learning, there is also a basic writing part (PIN YIN and basic ideograph study). But, I can also adapt the courses according to the particular requirements of the student (exam, quick knowledge for a business trip, etc.)
In general, I propose a weekly work (vocabulary review, reading an excerpt or watching a Chinese movie (for advanced students), etc.) and evaluate the progress of the course once a month so to quickly remedy certain shortcomings. Thank you for wanting to trust me and see you soon!
WastonChinese language and studies by college-educated native speaker
I'm a 30-year-old Chinese man currently residing near Schuman Roundabout, 1000 Brussels. I have a valid long-term visa allowing me to work here.
I'm university-educated in China and have been working since mid-2011 with a top news organization where my job is to write Chinese- and English-language articles. My job actually asks me to understand Chinese politics and economics, both from within the Chinese state but also from outside.
Therefore I'm offering not only the Chinese language, but also a balanced and reasoned perspective about China.
I'm well-mannered and patient. I'll admit I haven't taught the Chinese lanuage - Chinese mandarin, spoken by 1.4 billion people in the Chinese mainland - professionally. But I think we will work it out.
I can also stay online via instant messaging apps to answer your questions from time to time.
I live in a two-bedroom, one-living room apartment all by myself so it's OK if you want to come to my place. I can also travel by public transport. I'm actually quite flexible - workdays and weekends could all work for me.
If you are interested, pls drop me an email. I'll write back ASAP.

KatkaChinese lessons for everybody - first speaking than reading!
I think that the most important part of learning Chinese is actual speaking. Of course, reading, writing and grammar it’s also interesting part of this language, but the Chinese characters won’t save you in the conversation, especially with a wrong pronunciation. The lesson is just about you though and it will depend only on you which part of the language learning will be emphasized and which will stay in th background. And I will do my best to make learning exciting and enriching.
