German tutoring by graduate universityUniversity graduate in German language and literature (Master of Arts in German with specialization in Medieval Languages and Literature) with a solid experience gives private German lessons for all levels.
Courses adapted according to the needs of the student. They aim to consolidate concepts, fill in gaps, prepare for exams (maturity, compulsory school leaving certificates, entrance exams to gyms, university, Goethe Zertifikat up to C1) and / or learn about language.
For school supports:
It is above all a work on the long term. Therefore, any exercise is explained in detail, which can make its execution slower: the quality is priority to the quantity in order to obtain an optimal result in the long term. Students bring their own course material (notebooks, books, audio CDs, dictionaries, assessments, etc.). It is important to note that my presence and explanations alone are insufficient to obtain satisfactory results. That's why I take the time to "learn to learn" effectively.
For conversation classes:
Topics are based on interests and / or specific needs for exam preparation. I give special importance to pronunciation, fluency and vocabulary. I usually correct at the end of a conversation exercise with detailed feedback, this to avoid blocking and work on fluidity. Depending on the level of the students and / or their expectations (preparation exams / assessments / desire for improvement for example), I work on the choice of appropriate words, grammatical accuracy, the ability to formulate more or less complex sentences.
For exam preparations:
The courses offer to acquire solid tools to learn how to write, to comment on literary texts and a methodology to work on the oral comprehension. The student will have to bring his own booklet of exam preparations available in all bookstores. For the Gothe Institute examinations, the Cornlesen exam books are particularly suitable. The other alternative would be to download AND PRINT before the beginning of the course an examination copy of GOETHE INSTITUT available on the site of the institute itself.
For the oral comprehension:
work from visual audio views downloaded from the DEUTSCHE WELLE website, which offer various recordings adapted to all levels, with a very concrete approach. The student acquires long-term fluency not only in oral comprehension, but also enriches his basic vocabulary through exercises. I am also working on the oral tests of the Goethe Institute to familiarize with oral.
For the work of the written expression:
I begin by explaining in the first lesson some methodological tools to acquire writing skills. The student has the opportunity to start writing during the course or do a writing exercise on duty and give it to me to correct (send by email or at the beginning of the next lesson). The corrections are explained in detail. In addition, at the time of booking, the student can send me a draft copy before the lesson so that I can meet his needs even more quickly.
Apart from my presence with the student, any course involves a preparation time before and after the lesson, especially for the work that I correct. My goal is to design an individualized course, so I take the time to write detailed comments on corrected work or tips to ensure maximum success for everyone. In addition, each student can contact me at any time outside the course by email if necessary.
Feel free to contact me for more information.

Turkish Lessons (In-Person OR Online) for Adults and Kids from an Experienced and Patient Teacher For All Levels-Learn&Practice&Speak!I have been teaching Turkish for 17 years. I started to teach when I was studying Turkish Language and Literature. I worked in a language school and at the universities, I suppose that I gained success. 😊 My achievements are directly proportional to my students’ success. My students are mostly the teachers, consulate officers, international business people, and also travellers. I feel rewarded when I witness their progress in applying their Turkish language skills to their daily lives.
Over the years, I have met hundreds of people from all over the world, taught Turkish, and told them about Istanbul and Turkey. Those people told me about their countries and learned to express themselves in Turkish. For example, I ask them: “Do you like Istanbul?” in Turkish it is “İstanbul’u senior museum?” or “ Traffic is very bad in Istanbul!”, “İstanbul’ da çok Trafik var!” The basic but correct conversation is really important for self-confidence in any language. If a learner can master basic sentence forms, the rest will come much easier. On the other hand, making mistakes is also very important. Especially, a learner can not speak without making a mistake the first and second time.
My students are always varied and have diverse learning skills. My professionalism also allows me to tailor language education according to individual interests, needs, and capacities. In the classroom, I hold firm three main principles: first, providing a comfortable environment, second, creating an encouraging atmosphere, and third, establishing a collaborative instruction model. I consider that I developed an aptitude for making learning Turkish to become much easier, enjoyable and practical for my students.
I use a book prepared by a university in Turkey. I share the pdf version of the book for my lessons. I also adapt the materials according to the learner’s needs and support the book with my authentic materials. Even though I use a communicative approach, all my lessons are guided by a solid knowledge of grammar.
On the online lessons, I send an e-mail after every lesson. That word file includes a vocabulary list, sentences (corrected and uncorrected versions, you can compare both of them easily), grammar point and homework for revision. In this way, you can find everything in a file well organized. When we have a face to face lesson, I give a hard copy of this list after every lesson. The lessons could be at my home office or in my student's house or office. I sometimes meet with my students in a coffee shop, I try to prefer silent places. :)
How learning a new language opens a new window into a person, teaching Turkish is also the same for me! I was always interested in languages - I could speak a bit of Italian and learned Persian grammar except English.
I always think about Istanbul -I was born and grew up here- it is a good place for self-improvement. First and foremost, Istanbul hosts international people coming from around the world. It is considering to me, I am lucky because I have one of the pleasant professions.
When teaching Turkish, promoting cross-cultural awareness forms an important part of my lessons. Teaching the language involves both the students and myself in a dynamic conversation about our cultural backgrounds.
Teaching Turkish is in fact not only teaching a language but also teaching a culture. I am interested in cinema, music and like visiting museums. I always share the activities with my students.
I also teach Turkish to young learners. I started to study Child Development at Istanbul University as a second university in 2018. We say in Turkish, “Studies have no age!"
If you want to speak Turkish well, please contact me. It is fun, and we will smile during the lesson!
*Please note that I only do online lessons because of Covid-19. Thank you for understanding.

Presentation Design, Speech Writing and Orathorical PracticeThey say talking in public is the no1 fear in the world.
How about preparing for it intensively, so when the moment comes, you will be confident, engaged and clear, even if your knees are still shaking?
I have been coaching debate and public speaking to young people for 4 years. I have a lot of experience in speech writing and helping others prepare for talking in front of a crowd. What we can achieve together:
- learn to compose a good speech -> with all the necessary elements in order to have a persuasive effect
- design a killer presentation -> complicated ideas sometimes require visual aid for the public. Learn to let go of comic sans and how not to undermine a good talk with outdated graphic work
- practice speaking -> 99%blood sweat and tears. I can help you present over, and over and over again until you are satisfied and confident that nothing can go wrong. Remember that all the great speakers of this world made history by practice, not by intuition or accident.
My main goal for this course is that you would acquire autonomy to write your own speeches and manage presentations with less effort by being more and more persuasive.
