My name is Laurie and I am an independent FLE teacher, graduated in French and Romance languages and literature since 2012. I have five years of experience under my belt (abroad and in Belgium). I have created a teaching method for online courses.

The course includes:
-The material (articles, videos, exercises from images and texts, grammatical theory, links to the exercises...). I use Google Doc so it's best to have a Gmail address to access it.
-The correction of exercises outside of class (the written expressions are corrected outside of class, or with the student, according to his needs).
-Access to an application (free) to study vocabulary on your smartphone.
-A vocabulary sheet - pronunciation - grammar / conjugation, sent after each course.
-If necessary, a vocabulary recording (for beginners).
-The realization of online exercises and tests from the sent vocabulary sheets.
-Motivation, laughter, good mood :-)

My method:
- It's based on speaking.
-For grammar I use a question/answer method (learned during the training at the CERAN center).
-We work on pronunciation with the verbotonal method (exercises for setting your voice, for rhythm, etc.). I might even make you sing! :-)
-Everything goes through the spoken word before the written word, but I clearly adapt to the needs of the students.
-The course is a little different for children and adolescents: I use interactive games and cards via webcam.

This is the basic version of my Chinese lessons which is suited for motivated learners who are committed to spending 2-4 high quality hours per week for self study outside of the class. The general structure lesson revolves around review from previous sessions, assigned exercises and the new chapter of textbook. It is possible to book 1,5 or 10 lessons per time. Following reservation is ensured when discussed and booked two weeks ahead of time. Meeting time is confirmed minimum 5-7 days in advance and cancellation is free until 3 days before.
