With over nine years of experience as a math and physics tutor, I specialize in helping students, from middle school to college, build confidence and mastery in subjects that often feel intimidating. I’ve worked extensively with students preparing for standardized exams like the SAT, IB, and AP, as well as those navigating challenging coursework at school or university.
My approach is simple: make complex topics clear, relatable, and even enjoyable. I believe that with the right guidance and a consistent, personalized strategy, every student can excel in math and physics.
In addition to tutoring, I’m a fourth-year PhD student in theoretical physics at Emory University, where I research the fundamental limits of information processing in living organisms. I also co-founded the Georgian Association of Physics Students and helped organize an international conference that brought together over 300 students from around the world.
My passion for teaching goes hand-in-hand with my love for science, and I’m committed to helping every student realize that they’re capable of mastering even the most challenging concepts.
Oh, btw “hard work beats talent when talent fails to work hard”.

I always like to emphasize that not every teacher is the right fit for every student—and that’s completely okay! If you ever feel that my teaching style isn’t a good match (or for any other reason), you're absolutely free to discontinue the sessions, no worries at all.
That said, to be fair, I can’t recall this ever happening 😊.

Présentation
Teaching students how to learn is the most valuable skill a tutor can impart!
I thoroughly enjoy the challenge of teaching and supporting students academically while also helping them grow and thrive socially.
I strongly believe that Math and Physics are subjects that anyone can learn! The primary challenge often lies in a chain reaction of missed concepts—where even a small gap in understanding can create significant barriers. However, with consistency, hard work, and perseverance, those barriers can be broken down, paving the way for success.

Education
I completed my undergraduate studies in Physics at the Free University of Tbilisi, and I am now in my fourth year of physics graduate school at Emory University. Alongside my academic journey, I have been tutoring for nine years, specializing in physics and mathematics.
To highlight my experience, in 2019, I was selected by the Free University to represent the institution at the International Conference of Physics Students in Cologne. Additionally, I earned a four-year scholarship for winning a place in the prestigious Lavoisier Olympiad hosted by the Free University of Tbilisi.
Currently, I hold a full scholarship at Laney Graduate School for a five-year MA + PhD program in Physics at Emory University. I have also served as a Teaching Assistant for introductory physics courses over three semesters, where I facilitated hands-on learning and supported undergraduate students in their studies.
Additionally, I was honored to be selected and funded to attend the prestigious Theoretical Biological Physics Summer School at Les Houches, a renowned institution where many Nobel Prize winners have studied as students, just saying :)
Beyond tutoring, I served as the Director of GAPS (Georgian Association of Physics Students), which is a member of IAPS (International Association of Physics Students), further expanding my involvement in the global physics community. Through GAPS I organized the International Conference of Physics Students 2024 in Tbilisi, Georgia where we hosted 300+ physics students and 11 top-notch guest speakers from all around the world for a week.
I am excited to continue advancing my academic and professional journey as a graduate student in the Physics program at Emory University.
