I strongly believe you should naturally acquire a language instead of trying to learn it by heart. This can be done mostly by practising fluency and then revising grammatical errors and additional vocabulary on the side. Most importantly, I try not to overburden my students because acquiring a language is best done when you stay motivated to do so.
