Professional Chess Coaching from an International Master!

Hello everyone!
I am International Master Sanket Chakravarty, and I offer both training sessions and practice sessions for serious chess players looking to improve their game.
Teaching Methodology:
Step 1: Assessment
Before starting, I will ask you to send games from your last three tournaments.
During the first two classes, I will:
Analyze your games in detail
Identify recurring mistakes and weaknesses
Evaluate your strengths, style, and thought process
Create a personalized improvement plan
Step 2: Structured Improvement
Once the key weaknesses have been identified, future classes will focus on:
Positional understanding
Calculation and visualization
Decision-making
Middlegame planning
Practical tournament skills
Endgame fundamentals and technique
Step 3: Homework & Training
Students will receive carefully selected homework assignments designed to reinforce the concepts discussed during lessons.
The goal is not only to learn principles but also to apply them independently.
Step 4: Opening Preparation
I will provide opening files and repertoire guidance whenever necessary. However, I believe openings should support overall chess understanding rather than dominate training time.
For most students, improving calculation, strategic understanding, and practical decision-making yields much greater long-term results than memorizing opening variations.
Some of my achievements include:
1. Norway Open Blitz 2025 – Champion
2. 44th Indian National Team Chess Championship 2025 – Silver Medal
3. Asian Club Chess Champions League – Team Bronze Medal, Individual Silver Medal (Board 5)
4. 18th Plancoët International Open 2025 – Joint Champion (Runner-up on tiebreaks)
5. 2nd Orchies International Chess 2026 - Champion
I am currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science and Engineering at Jadavpur University.
Outside chess, I enjoy travelling, exploring new countries, and experiencing different cultures and adventures.
