EL SIRIO – THE GUITAR AS A TERRITORY OF EXPRESSION
Nazir, known as “El Sirio,” is a flamenco guitarist with 18 years of experience born in Syria.
Trained in classical guitar at the Higher Institute of Music in Damascus, he carries a story that is shaped by memories and emotions.
A story marked by departure, by faces and places left behind, and by silences that only music can translate.

Now based in Seville, Spain. Nazir has given himself fully to the art of flamenco. He studied with leading figures such as Diego del Morao, and in 2024, he shared the stage with master guitarist Antonio Rey in a concert in Montreal, Canada.

El Sirio brings to life a flamenco that is intimate, expressive and alive; a personal sound that houners the tradition while speaking his own voice.

Age and musical taste are not restrictive when in the program, you can with qualitative daily work (not quantitative) quickly observe your progress.

Folk or classical acoustic guitar.

The teaching philosophy is adapted to the level of each individual, according to the pace of work and motivation.

For example, for beginners: Technique of the plectrum or fingers, coordination and correction of the right and left hand. Learning basic chords, simple themes, simple rhythms, reading tablatures (...).

For intermediaries: development of rhythm, construction of chords, writing of tablatures, basic notions of harmony (...).
