About Me

Jambo! I’m Linet, a native Swahili speaker and tutor from Kenya. I help students of all levels learn Swahili in a clear, practical, and confidence-building way. Whether you’re starting from zero, preparing for travel, working with East African partners, or connecting with family and culture, I’ll guide you step by step.

My lessons focus on speaking from day one. I keep things practical, patient, and tailored to your goals. We use real-life conversations, role-play, and simple grammar explanations so you can use Swahili immediately, not just memorize rules. In the first few weeks you’ll learn to introduce yourself, ask questions, order food, give directions, and hold basic conversations with confidence. Mistakes are part of learning, so I create a relaxed space where you can practice without fear.

Here’s what we’ll cover: greetings and introductions, numbers and time, everyday vocabulary, sentence building, pronunciation, and listening skills. I also include cultural context so you understand how Swahili is used in daily life across Kenya and East Africa. Lessons are adjusted for complete beginners, intermediate students who want to improve fluency, and learners preparing for travel or work.
