Applied mathematics: introduction to mathematical biology.

This class is for students wishing to get started with Mathematical Biology. The content leans more towards deterministic modelling of biological models than biological content itself. Notes will be provided.

I teach with a mixture of pen and paper explanations and exercises. I use examples to help the student understand the content. I make references to physics or real life situations to put maths in contexts, which I find helps relating to the content. I mark exercises and explain solutions, pointing out how answers could be improved. I provide reports on students progress.

Being a pianist and a piano teacher, I already have lots of experience with teaching and pedagogical approach with the whole range of ages.

If you wish to brush up your Italian, resume a past series of lessons, or simply start from scratch learning Italian, this is the right lesson for you!
