Mi nombre es Paula. Soy una chica española muy sociable y amistosa. Tengo una licenciatura en estudios ingleses y un máster en formación del profesorado. Estudié mi tercer año de carrera en la Universidad de Limerick (Irlanda) donde pude empaparme de la cultura irlandesa por completo. Durante los últimos cinco años he impartido clases particulares a todos los niveles y edades (niños, adultos, adolescentes). He realizado varias prácticas en institutos públicos de Madrid como profesora de inglés y he trabajado en varias academias privadas. Me considero una persona muy paciente con una gran vocación para la enseñanza.

We watch or read materials, such as videos, articles, stories, poems, caricatures, then discuss them; we act out situations from everyday life; we take positions and practice debates. I’m here to ensure that they do not keep repeating the same mistakes or keep using the same expressions over and over in conversation.
In order to keep making progress, I take my student on a journey that involves:

Based on my 13 years of experience, I think that A1 level is a very important period in language learning. When learning any language, beginner level students should learn it in the correct order and important details should be explained well by practising previous ones. Students at more advanced levels, such as A2, B1 or above, also need to practice their skills at the previous level thoroughly to improve their language skills. I try to provide good teaching by paying attention to these important points in my lessons. I keep our lessons' notes in a word file. After our lessons, I send you back all the additional notes and exercises that we covered in our lesson as a Word file.
