About Me

I am a native speaker of Arabic and a full-time instructor of the Arabic language. I teach classes and individuals on all levels of Arabic, from beginner to advanced level. My instruction covers the full range of the Arabic language, including basic, intermediate, and advanced conversational Egyptian Colloquial Arabic and basic to advanced formal written and media Arabic. I teach grammar, reading, and composition in Arabic in addition to colloquial and media listening and speaking.

I have extensive experience teaching Arabic both in the classroom and online via skype. I taught formal classes in Arabic for non-native speakers at the Arab Academy in Cairo (Garden City) where I provided instruction for both individuals and groups (including group classes for students from the U.S. Air Force Academy). I also have extensive (2010 – 2020) experience teaching online at all levels and have instructed students and professors from U.S. colleges and universities.
For general qualification, I would like to add that I am flexible and dexterous in my handling of language instruction and have started my own internet business (via Skype) for Arabic language instruction. I work well with others, both Egyptians and foreigners and I am adept at working with teams. I have as well a strong command of the English language – in both written and spoken form.
