Beginners American Sign Language (Taught in English)

I have a sign language skills diploma (DCL level B.2) and I have been teaching for 10 years for different audiences (school, high school, companies, professionals) On skype, I plot the course so that the student can review what has been done

I specialize in teaching languages for children and parents (all). My goal is to keep students in a difficult situation, but not overwhelm them. After each lesson, I assign homework and provide periodic progress reports. This class is for aspiring students. The focus is learning by having fun, very simple for yourself and your family. Don't worry if you're an absolute beginner, I'm a child development and language teacher.

These classes are highly egaging and are created to match the pace of which you learn. In each class you will be taught by me, using British Signs to help support your communication needs. I am level 3 qualified in British Sign Language, working on getting my level 4 and 5 Each session has a plan, but this is just to ensure it has structure. You will learn about deaf culture, to help you feel more comfortable and to help those you are signing with feel at ease while communicating with them. You will also be assigned homework in the from of a workbook and there will be time to practice form and ask any questions where necessary. I will also adapt the content based on whatever your goals are. If you have a child who wants to learn along with you, this format is slighly different - providing more visual cues 🙂
