Graphic design is one of those skills that looks simple from the outside but has real depth to it. Whether you're starting from zero or already know your way around the basics, these lessons are designed to help you build a solid foundation and develop the kind of creative thinking that actually gets you somewhere in this field.

I've been working as a graphic designer for 16 years, across branding studios, creative agencies, and product teams. I currently work as a Head of Graphic Design, and I've spent the last four years teaching and mentoring designers at all levels, including at Brainster Academy and Monday Academy. I bring that same industry-level perspective into every lesson.

What we cover depends on where you are and where you want to go, but typically includes design principles, typography, layout and grids, color theory, composition, vector illustration, and design for both print and digital. We work with industry-standard tools: Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, and InDesign, taught in a way that fits into a real professional workflow, not just isolated exercises.

Every session is personalized. We work through real projects and practical tasks rather than just theory, so you're building skills you can actually use. You'll also get honest, constructive feedback throughout, the kind that helps you grow faster than going it alone.

About Me

I'm Blagoy, a graphic designer with 16 years of hands-on experience and a genuine passion for teaching. Design has been my craft for a long time, but over the last four years mentoring and teaching has become just as important to me as the work itself. There's something really satisfying about watching someone go from uncertain beginner to confident designer, and I try to make that journey as practical and enjoyable as possible.
The way I teach is pretty straightforward. I don't overload you with theory. We work through real tasks and projects from the start, so every session feels productive and relevant. I'm patient, I give honest feedback, and I adapt to how you learn best. I enjoy working with all kinds of students, from complete beginners who've never opened Illustrator, to working designers who want to sharpen specific skills or change direction in their career.

Learn to draw by observing the world around you.
In these classes we will explore drawing from life: people, places and everyday scenes.

We can work from real objects, photographs, or illustrations.
If you're interested in manga, ink drawing, or ukiyo-e (traditional Japanese woodblock prints), we can also explore that style.

If you have something you'd like to draw, you can bring it to class.
If not, we will use reference materials that I have prepared.

No prior experience is necessary. Beginners are welcome.
