I am an ex Maths teacher in GCSE and IB programme. I have taught many students and have been trained for teaching using pedagogy. I am an engineer and I used many day to day applications to inspire students. Teaching is just not about sharing knowledge, it is to stimulate the students to want to learn, to get them to learn by themselves at the end. Hello, my name is Oussama, I am an engineering student in applied mathematics at CY Tech Paris, after two years of scientific preparatory classes MP (Physical Mathematics), I passed my entrance exam to the Grands Ecoles d'ingénieur (CCINP written and oral, X written). I am currently in applied mathematics training for Finance. Here is the structure of a typical session: > Answers to (possible) questions from the student (for the entire session if necessary) > "Profitable" exercises (proposed by the student and/or chosen by me). Answering a question in maths is above all navigating using tools from point A to point B in the mathematical universe. So I don't do the exercise in place of the student but I'm there to guide him to the only places where he gets stuck in order to give him the tools, the reflexes and the knowledge that will allow him to move forward in the future. The goals of my sessions will therefore be to find the places where the student "blocks" and to remedy them. That being said, I adapt above all to the requests of each student.
