I have worked fulltime, for the past 15 years, as a language teacher and translator. I was born in Sweden, to Danish parents and live with an Englishman. I teach said three languages to both private and commercial clients, placing great emphasis on client needs and abilities. This is a sample of what we can do in a lesson: Reading: We will read a passage (of your choice or one of mine) and analyse the text. I will ask you questions about the text to make sure you have understood the text. Writing: I can correct any short texts that you write. Speaking: We will speak English for the whole lesson. I will not use any other language other than German if you are a complete beginner. Hearing: We can analyse audio samples, and I can ask questions to test your listening comprehension. The Aptis exam is an English degree that is booming in Spain. And it is not fashionable just because, it is a much easier exam than the rest of the English accreditations, it is cheaper and faster. It is used to accredit the language at the university and for various examinations. The course lasts three months in which we will work on the four skills to obtain the APTIS B1 certificate in that time. You don't have to bring anything, just the desire to learn.
