GabrielleFrench and English courses
Being a law student, I have a good foundation in French and English. I can help, for both subjects, to avoid errors of spelling, grammar, conjugation, syntax. I can also help in French to make comments and essays, or any editorial exercise.
Bilingual Student in English offers classes for all levels, for children, adults seeking to improve, or help with school, preparation of the Baccalaureate or support in higher education.
The objective is to learn in a fun way, I propose lessons by themes according to the center of interests and the necessities of the pupil.
HadrienPrivate lessons in Mathematics, Economics, English, French, Geography and History.
Student in L3 of Modern Letters, after 3 years of preparatory class (one year in Economic Preparation and two years in Literature Prep) I have many knowledge and a good mastery of the disciplines that I propose to teach. If my work methods are those of a preparatory class student, I can adapt to the students and reformulate my knowledge so that I can explain, teach and help the student organize his personal work. My education, from primary to first, was difficult but I knew very well how to succeed. From these years of failure, I feel a strong empathy for the students who do not succeed and I am very patient. The most important thing for me is that the student learns to love what he is studying, so it starts working.
CharlotteAcademic support in French, in history and in English
Second year student in anthropology offers an individualized pedagogy, help with homework and questions. I try to support the student in order to find a work methodology that can help him progress.
If needed and / or asked, I could give homework supplements It is obvious that I could provide a progress report on a regular basis to parents who wish it because it will be done automatically.

IanEnglish Teacher from Canada, available for all ages and levels
I'm from Vancouver, Canada, 40 years old.
I've taught English in Japan for five years and recently moved to Lyon.
I have a TEFL certificate.
Listening, speaking and discussing skills is my specialty.
Normally the student and I choose a course book together so it is appropriate and interesting.
I have a lesson plan and extra exercises for most classes.
Finding a comfortable location to learn is important. I can teach in my apartment or somewhere within 15 minutes of me.
Weekday daytime is best for me.
If there's one thing I can promise, it's that you won't be bored with me! I know that learning English, particularly the grammar (looking at you, irregular past participles) can be a challenge, but I'm here to try and make things seem much less scary. I'm currently working with children and teenagers, so I really do understand the importance of learning through fun, and making things as clear and simple as possible.
I'm a native English speaker ad qualified TEFL teacher, and I've been teaching in France for almost a year. I have experience teaching both adults and children - my youngest student is 3 years old, and my oldest was 76. Although I prefer an immersion style of teaching (always speaking in English), I realise that there occasionally difficulties with translating words here and there, so my knowledge of French can also be helpful. I'm currently studying for a BA in English and French, so I'd be happy to approach your studies from a literary, cultural or linguistic angle.
Instead of telling you what you'll learn, I'm here for you to tell me what you want. Of course, we'll do a diagnostic session, and I might give you some (friendly) advice about what I think you need, but ultimately, what I can offer are lessons that are entirely tailored to you. We can spend the hour on the past simple vs the present perfect. We can spend the hour analysing your favourite book using various literary theories (yes, even Harry Potter). We can spend the hour focusing entirely on conversation - your fluency, accuracy and intonation. I speak the Queen's English, so I like to think that I'm easy to understand, and hopefully you'll be speaking like a BBC presenter in no time!
I'll stop there, as this is getting dangerously long, so please do get in touch and I'll be happy to answer any questions you might have, or provide you with a sample lesson plan.
I look forward to hearing from you!
OcéanePrivate lessons in philosophy - letters - English
Hello, I am currently in third year of double degree in modern letters and philosophy at the University Jean Moulin Lyon 3.
Philosophy classes are for students of Terminal. They are useful for all streams, especially for those who are doing a bachelor's degree.
French classes are for students from high school to high school. French is the basis of all subjects since its mastery allows us to express ourselves well and not to make mistakes, both written and spoken. It is important to fill the gaps in this subject, from the point of view of both grammar and expression. These courses can especially help all those who have to prepare the baccalaureate of French first.
The courses will be conducted as follows: correction and assessment of homework given in the previous course; exercises under my supervision, chosen according to the student's shortcomings; lessons from these exercises; homework for next time. The order of exercises and lessons can be reversed depending on the student's mode of operation and learning.
I want to focus my pedagogy on listening to the student and his needs. I think it's important to help him progress by encouraging him through exercises within his reach. The level requested should thus increase in proportion to the efforts and progress made.
Student in English in Lyon, I give private lessons to children / adolescents who need, at home (Arrondissements of Lyon Bron).
Do not hesitate to contact me for more information!

LisaEnglish - French private lessons - literature
LLCE (Language Literature and Foreign Civilization) English student (+ one and a half years in a private school of international relations), with many more or less long experiences (up to five months) in English speaking countries. I offer private lessons in English, French and literature (French and English), from primary to high school (possibly first year of university depending on the sector). I adapt my lessons to the difficulties and expectations of the student, to make them as fun and interesting as possible. I usually divide my classes into two parts, the first one dedicated to the courses given in the school: we take them together, check that everything is understood and acquired, and solve the difficulties. The second part is about a personal deepening and enrichment, according to the choice of the student or the parents (written comprehension, writing, oral comprehension, accents, studies of additional works, enrichment of the sources and techniques of analysis, etc.). ). I can give homework if desired by parents or student.
My availability is variable: more flexible during the summer, we may have to move classes from September according to my own class schedule.
