Acting is a form of expression used to inspire, entertain and enlighten. These classes would explore self in an objective way that would allow one to be able to portray fun, honest characters. It would specialize in line delivery, characterization and interpretation.

My name is Vanessa and I am an actress, teacher and producer currently based in London, United Kingdom. As well as training and performing within the Theatre industry since 2011, I have also taught art disciplines such as acting, singing and dance and dance fitness from the ages of 3 upwards. Some of my performance credits include, Motown The Musical, Joseph And The Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat, Hairspray and Legally Blonde to name a few. For those that have a keen passion for entering into the Theatre industry, I am able to use my experience to offer professional training across all disciplines and help equip them with tools needed to thrive as a performer. Similarly, for those that enjoy the arts as an extra curricular hobby/space to express themselves creatively, I take pride in holding a creative self space to help my students to unlock self confidence, self belief and their broader imagination as well as strengthening skills such as teamwork, singing, dancing and acting. I am able to hold online classes and work to an international timezone to reach all my students and for those based in London and prefer face to face lessons, I'm able to rent studios or arrange home visits where requested. Are you a new aspiring artist trying your hand at creating artwork for the first time? Or do you want to improve your skills with valuable advice on your practice perhaps in preparation for a course of study or to perfect your technique? Contemporary art offers a wide range of possibilities and mediums. Through over eleven years of studying and practicing Fine Arts, I have acquired a deep love and appreciation for traditional art techniques such as traditional technical painting and drawing, and mixed media sculpting but also enjoyed experimenting with uncountable numbers of other unconventional media integrating them with contemporary languages. My course will help you improve your skills or learn from scratch how to get drawings, sculptures and paintings according to your goals.

In this class we will explore drawing through a series of therapeutic art and mindfulness exercises. This class is designed to encourage students to free the mind of judgement and explore the realms of unpredictability and subconscious creation. You will be lead through simple techniques of mark making, pattern and experimental drawing with a focus on breathing and sensation. As well as drawing to music, poems and film, we will be taking a look at a few artists who have worked within the realms of the abstract drawing and the subconscious. The aim of this class is to quieten our conscious mind and place our thoughts completely in the present, in turn creating a deeper connection with ourselves and the world around us.

I've designed this course to guide you as you delve into key aspects within the film world. Academically-informed and intellectually stimulating, the course encompasses the study of quintessential arthouse films, surrealism in cinema, the intersections between psychology and film, classical horror narratives, oneiric films, and more modules that will allow you to gain valuable knowledge of cinema at an academic level. The course has a clear structure and the activity will include online streaming of a carefully curated selection of films and clips, followed by in-depth analysis and interpretation. We will discuss underlying cinematic themes, psychoanalytical symbolism, stylistic categorisations, meta-references, the larger aesthetic value of the cinematic work, character development, feminist interpretations and critiques, and conceptual frameworks. This course will include several 90-minutes classes; the number of classes can be adapted depending on your interests, needs, pace, and existing knowledge.

I am a professional artist who has exhibited at the National Portrait Gallery in London, at the Royal Academy, more recently at the Salisbury Museum, and internationally. I offer lessons in Painting, Drawing and Art History. I have a big interest in materials and techniques, I have use embroidery in a series of works that I have realised recently for a solo show in Rome. I gain a MA at the Chelsea College of Arts in London and therefore I can help you prepare your portfolio for university applications or teach you how to paint a portrait or a still life. If you are interested in gaining more knowledge of art History I can also help. For the last 9 years, I have been an assistant to British Painter Jonathan Yeo, working with him toward big national shows such as a show at the National Portrait Gallery, or international such as the one in Friederiksborg Castle in Denmark in 2016.

A class or series of classes designed to help young people express themselves in a fun and confident way. Lots of games, story-telling and imaginary play for younger students, and for teenagers a confidence boost for oral presentations at school or interacting with peers, perhaps even going for university/first job interviews. I am a visual artist born in Barcelona, settled in Belgium since 2017. As an artist I have accumulated experience for the last 25 years. I am graduated with an Academic Bachelor in Fine Arts in the University of Barcelona and graduated as a Master in Visual Arts at Sint Lucas School of Arts in Antwerpen. I am specialised in painting, drawing, experimental films, installations, language, sound and curating. In other words, I am a multidisciplinary artist. I understand the artistic practice as a way to understand ourselves and the situations which surrounds us. In my classes I don't teach how to do Art, but as how to say something through your artistic work. With me you can work independently, with a coach who will challenge you with some assignments and giving feedback to your personal concerns. In addition, you will learn how to work with several mediums, preparing your own material: paintings, canvases, and so on. You will not only receive individual coaching but as encourage you to look other artists or take into account other references connected with your concerns. Finding, discussing and retaking solutions together are the core of my classes.

Egg tempera is one of the most ancient historical art painting technique. It preserved as a main technique to paint orthodox religious icons. It is possible to learn it and paint your own icon. I have 9 years of practice teaching people how to do it. We work together step by step to understand the technique, the way to prepare wooden panel to paint an icon and the techniques of making a good project to make the icon fit to the board. We also learn how to make gold leaf layer on the nimbs. Your icon will be a real, crafted icon.
