I'm a native Persian speaker who learned English in Iran and French in Belgium! so I know truly what it means the struggle of learning a new language. I believe pressure, shyness and lack of confidence deprive us of learning languages. so my method is based on joy, repetition, and encouragement. I love teaching Farsi because I love also making new friends. You will start to enjoy playing the piano both during the class and outside of the time of the class. You will learn how to be able to perform in a way which inspires your audience. I will teach you the basic music theory without going way deep into the theory because this is a performance class but you will learn what you need to excel in your performance. Additionally, I will teach you the principles of aesthetics of playing the piano. The repertoire that I focus on is mostly the Western modern and Classical music, but we can also work on some famous Persian and Turkish pieces if you like. Of course, you are also always welcome to bring your favorite pieces to the class.
