Hello everyone! I am Ricardo a percussion teacher with a passion for working with kids.
I have a bachelor's and a master's in classical percussion with experience in teaching multiple musical styles (from classical to pop) and multiple percussion instruments (from drums to keyboard percussion instruments). I am energetic and enthusiastic, and I believe the love of music should be shared with everyone.

Ricardo studied between 2014 and 2020 at the Royal Conservatory of The Hague, where he completed a bachelor's and a master's in percussion. He joined the classes of the teachers Hans Zonderop, Niels Meliefste, Pepe Garcia Theun van Nieuwburg, and Rob Verhagen. During his studies, he attended several masterclasses with teachers and groups such as Nuno Aroso, Alexandre Experet, SO Percussion, Slagwerk Den Haag, Aly D'Nyane Rose, and Marinus Kmost, among others.

I am a young, dynamic, and qualified teacher (Master in Music pedagogy & Master in Performance) giving:
Violin lessons for beginners and advanced students, adults, and children as early as age 4.

With experience teaching students of all ages, Sandra Pérez is an acclaimed clarinet player who will help you achieve your musical goals -whether it may be just getting acquainted with the clarinet or if you are already looking to pursue higher education. I am a French historical and modern horn player based in The Hague. I have played the Horn since I was 4 years old and I have two Master's degrees in modern horn and natural horn. I offer you lessons on modern and historical instruments, as well as music theory.

I work with all ages, all levels, and all objectives, and I can even work with other brass. If you want to discover the instrument or perfect it, if you need theory support or practice help, I will adapt my methods to your needs to offer you quality musical time!

What is music theory? Is it just one theory? What do we do with it? How come so many of the greatest musicians didn't know even the name of the notes?

Let's dispel the myth.
They may, in fact, have lacked the names, but "knowing" in music means something else than a dusty stockpile of information and labels. Their ears, their voice, and their hands "knew" very well...

Music theory is the way we get some order into the endless realm of possibility that music allows us. Naming and conceptualizing these possibilities is very useful in many ways. It provides us with an overarching and abstract understanding of what we have done (reflective element), and it can even open up to yet unheard sound combinations (generative element). But one point remains crucial: music theories come from music practice and come back to music practice. Theories are the most useful and loyal servants for music-making, but only empty speculations without it.

In these lessons, I will help you to understand how to navigate music theories and what to do with them. I will show you a plurality of approaches to systematizing sound relations that will serve at best the music you love to play or want to compose.

The lessons will be custom made for each student.
Whether you are a beginner who simply wants a little help to get the basics right or you are a cultivated musician fond of music theory who wants to explore advanced and complex concepts out of the box, I will provide you with ideas, materials, and exercises. Japanese professional pianist, conductor and composer, graduated at Conservatoire du Paris, Tokyo University of Arts and Fontys, I give music lessons according to the needs (including the place of the lesson) of each student.
I have been teacher at Conservatoire de Paris (CNSM) for 8 years. Currently I work sometimes at Koninklijk Conservatorium Den Haag.
As my parents who are both chorus conductor and music teacher, teaching is always my big passion beside of my activity on stage ! My name is Carla Peña and I come from Barcelona. Since I was a child, music has played an important role in my life. I started learning music when I was 4 years old and cello when at the age of 6. I discovered my love for music and that is what I share with my students.
I have around 15 pupils of all levels and ages and I teach at my own studio (De Constant Rebecquestraat 3) or at your place!

FIRST LESSON:
The first lesson consists of getting to know each other. This is essential to choose the best teaching approach. All the students are unique, that is why I always choose the method that adapts better to your needs. Then, we elaborate a personal plan, depending on your level, expectations, practice time, and taste.

TECHNIQUE:
Learning the proper technique of the instrument is very important to avoid injuries and to be able to express ourselves and perform our musical ideas in a successful way. That is why we learn nice songs in different styles, depending on your taste (from classical to jazz, film music, pop, etc.) and we combine it with cello method books with progressive exercises to improve the cello knowledge.
In the case of young beginners, we also play cello games during the lesson to make the learning experience dynamic and fun! Children can lose attention and get bored very quickly!

Playing together is an essential part of enjoying music. Therefore, the last part of the lesson always consists of playing cello duets and having fun!

ABOUT ME:

I studied my Bachelor in Conservatori Superior del Liceu in Barcelona, with professor Amparo Lacruz. Then, I decided to continue my studies at the Royal Conservatory of The Hague in the class of Michel Strauss and Jan-Ype Nota.
During my studies in The Hague, I did a teaching internship at the Royal Conservatory as a part of their Minor in Music Education. I also taught in several Music Schools during my studies in Spain.
Currently, I teach private students in The Hague and I created a cultural center in The Hague called Pandora Studio.
I play regularly in two chamber music ensembles: Trio Jakob and Azalaïs Quartet.

Individual cello lessons focusing on the needs of the student.
The main focus is developing the musicality as well as the technique of the student.
Lessons for total beginners, as well as advanced cellists.

I study at the Royal Conservatory of The Hague and studied in Paris before living in the Netherlands. I already gave lessons and will have my teaching diploma in January 2023.

I am Héloïse, a french cellist and singer who lives in The Netherlands since two years. I finished to study at HKU Utrecht Conservatorium in june and am now a professional musician and, among other a cello teacher at the Lindenberg Center in Nijmegen.

After teaching music theory for two years in a french conservatory, I realised how much teaching is very important for me and helps me to grow as a musician. I like to adapt to the student and try to find a solution in any pedagogical situation.
I can teach all cello and singing levels, and all ages. I can also give some music theory lessons.

Hi! I'm a French violinist currently in my 4th year of a classical violin Bachelor at the Royal Conservatory of the Hague, and I hold a DEM (Diplôme d'Études Musicales) from the CRR de Paris (Regional Paris conservatory) where I studied with Florin Szigeti.
I’ve had the opportunity to participate in masterclasses with Josef Spacek, Pavel Vernikov, Olivier Charlier, Igor Volochine, Marianne Piketty, and I love sharing everything I’ve learned from them through my own teaching.

I have experience with Orchestra and chamber music as well. I had the pleasure of participating in a side by side project with the Orchestre Philarmonique de Radio France and play in various prestigious settings.
