About Me

I am an energetic and positive person who loves making music. My passion is to be on stage playing and sharing music with others. I also enjoy teaching because I love the unique connection music does with human beings; it takes out the best of ourselves and in our hearts!!

I specialized in two instruments: saxophone and viola ( I can teach violin as well). I have 20+ years of teaching experience, I work with adults and children of all ages, from beginners to advanced levels. My extensive teaching experience and performing expertise have given me a vast range of methodologies ideal for adapting my teaching to the needs and pace of individual students. I am familiar with Trinity and ABRSM syllabus since 2011.

I also took additional courses in Basics on arrangements and composition (software MuseScore and Sibelius), Emotional Intelligence in Education and Stress, Management in Education, and Mindfulness. In the lessons, I incorporate the Alexander and Feldenkrais Techniques principles.

As a freelance saxophonist and violist musician, I am on the extra players lists and play often with the following orchestras:
Residentie Orkest, Metropole Orkest, Sinfonia Rotterdam, Philharmonie ZuidNederland, Noord Nederlands Orkest, Asko|Schönberg ensemble (The Netherlands), Navarra Symphony Orchestra (Spain), among others.

I have performed in several relevant music festivals like the North Sea Jazz Festival (The Netherlands, playing together with Benjamin Hermann and with George Benson), Festival Junger Künstler Bayreuth (Germany), Sommer Oper Bamberg (Germany), Jeunesse Orchestre Atlantic (JOA) (France). And shared stage and record CD with artists such as Robbie Williams, Lalah Hathaway, Di-rect, among others

I am a French historical and modern horn player based in The Hague. I have played the Horn since I was 4 years old and I have two Master's degrees in modern horn and natural horn. I offer you lessons on modern and historical instruments, as well as music theory.

There are two grand pianos at the location in Den Haag.

For children, it is important to develop basic musical skills through Singing, Rythmique, and Ear training besides piano playing. I use one technical exercise book, the main textbook, and a theory book. Through these 3 books, students learn different aspects of music and they naturally get ready for exams and grades.

After acquiring basic skills, students study Harmony and Chord exercises too. These are useful for playing pops and jazz, and they obtain a deeper understanding of classical pieces too.

Private Piano lesson, from age 4 and above. Children can start the lesson after being able to read the numbers from 1 to 5 and the alphabet from A to G.

Advanced students who want to prepare for competitions, auditions, ABRSM, GCSE, IB exams, or the entrance exam of the conservatory.

The concert is held annually together with students of flute, violin, and composition teachers.

For the ages 1-7 years, I have group Rhythmique lessons.

Hi there! My name is Norica. I am a pianist and a piano teacher from Tokyo.

Just quickly to the point: My approach is holistic and systematic. It uses lots of fun exercises and nice educational materials from Japan in addition to the Internationally recognized standard books. (Don't worry, you don't have to understand Japanese!) You learn not only how to play piano but also how music works- music theory.

I know what my students are good at and not so good at right off the bat. That's why I can tailor the lesson plans to their goals and needs.

Also, if you like to take an ABRSM exam, the syllables will be tailored accordingly. So what will be tested on the day of the exam is integrated into the lessons and my class/lesson offers all-round preparation for the exam. I have helped my students pass G1, 3, 5 and 6 with a good score.

Another important aspect of my lesson is to focus on improving cognitive skills - increasing memory, right-hand-left-hand-coordination, sustained attention, nonverbal communication, and a feeling of independence and freedom.

I do so with unique materials from Japan and fun training.

Currently students from 4 to 75 years old are taking my lessons. As an educator, I am committed to the process of learning while making lessons enjoyable and constructive.

My violin classes are open to people of all ages and levels. You may have used to play the violin many years ago and are trying to get back at it but don't know how, you may have just started and you're looking for a teacher that can guide your first steps, you may be looking for regular coaching for an already developed sense of musicality — my classes accommodate all of the above and more.
Most of my pupils are already intermediate students who are dedicated to becoming the young violinists of the future, but that doesn't mean my class isn't for you if you are simply looking for a hobby! Music is about having fun together!

I have been performing in various ensembles and venues around Europe and Israel, playing baroque, medieval, renaissance and contemporary music which is the vast repertoire of the recorder. Anything that is part of a fundamental understanding of music, e.g. music theory, solfège, rhythm and piano will be taught. For me it is very important that the lessons is specifically made for the students regarding content and length. If asked violin and ballett can be taught as well.
