I hold a Bachelor’s degree from Beijing Normal University, China’s No.1 institution for teacher education and Chinese language studies, and I am currently pursuing my Master’s in Chinese Studies at Ghent University. I speak Standard Mandarin with perfect and accent-free pronunciation (PSC Level 1-B), and have experience teaching international students as a teaching assistant at Ghent University. Lessons are conducted in English or Mandarin, depending on your comfort level.

About Me

I am a native Mandarin speaker with a strong academic background in Chinese language and teaching. I hold a Bachelor’s degree from Beijing Normal University, China’s No.1 institution for teacher education and Chinese language studies. My Mandarin pronunciation is exceptionally clear— I achieved PSC Level 1-B, which means I speak Standard Mandarin with almost no accent.
Currently, I work as a teaching assistant in the Chinese Studies Department at Ghent University, where I support students in pronunciation, vocabulary building, grammar, and cultural understanding. I am fluent in English and can teach fully in English when needed, making my lessons accessible for beginners.
My teaching style is patient, structured, and engaging. I customise each lesson according to the student’s goals and interests — daily conversation, pronunciation correction, HSK preparation, or cultural topics. I enjoy integrating real-life materials, trending topics, and the student’s personal hobbies to make learning enjoyable and effective.
