Hi there! I'm from Singapore, and I'm proficient in both English and Mandarin Chinese. The former is my native language, and the latter, my Mother Tongue. I've done my academic studies in both languages, and lived in Singapore - a country where both languages are used everywhere, most of my life. The lessons would follow a 4 week plan, where the aim is for students to achieve an elementary level of speaking in Mandarin Chinese, as well as a basic level of written Mandarin (simplified version). You'll be learning useful words and phrases tweaked to fit your interests / daily activities.

Dear all,

I live near Geneva, Switzerland, and I offer Chinese and mathematics lessons. Since 2016, I have given private lessons to students and adults. I have over 4 years of experience teaching mathematics to international students, from primary school to high school, in English. I also taught the Chinese language to adults as well as children at The Language Center school in Ferney-Voltaire.

I have been giving chinese lessons for more than 10 years. Before that, I was a radio broadcaster and a journalist in China, hence I have a perfect pronunciation of the official mandarin, without any accent. It provides my students the best conditions to learn chinese, as the tone you give to words when you speak chinese as a foreigner is of great importance if you want to be understood by natives.

I have a strong working experience helping students preparing their HSK exam, I also often teach diplomats, to help them acquire the necessary skills and understand properly the vocabulary specific to their job.

Especially, after graduating from the university, I became a 2-year volunteer teacher in a remote village in China.

- Learning with fun. I know it is not easy to study another language. But there are several ways to help you (your children) love to study Chinese, such as Picture Book Teaching, Chinese songs, or intriguing multimedia tools (movies and videos).
-Specific teaching method for yourself. My past five-year working experience is to teach teachers how to improve their learning skills. One of the most important methods is to adjust and design the teaching method according to the ability and interest of each student. I will teach you (or your children) to study in an appropriate way through the pre-course testing, assignments, and interaction.
-Chinese language and culture. China has a long history of 5,000 years, and there are so many histories, poems, and stories during the long period of time. You( or your children)can learn a lot about Chinese culture and local customs while studying Chinese.
