I am soon to be graduating from the Eastman School of Music with a Bachelor of Music in Violin Performance. I will be going to the Shepherd School of Music (Rice University) for my Master's Degree in Violin Performance starting in the fall of this year. I have been playing the violin for 18 years as well as the piano for 15 years. I had a couple opportunities to teach a group of elementary kids as well as a single experience of giving an individual lesson a couple years ago. However, I greatly enjoyed the art of teaching and strive to become a teacher/professor in the future. I would be comfortable teaching beginner to intermediate level violin students (up to Suzuki level 10) and beginner piano students. I am trained in music theory so that would be included in lessons.
