I am currently a part time Creative Writing and English Literature student. I have recently moved to London from Newcastle, where I was tutoring under 11s in English and Maths, helping them in preparation for exams. I have gained a great deal of knowledge from working with children of all ages and abilities, and I am ready to continue my journey with new challenges and experiences.

I take time to first get to know my student, finding out what level they are currently working at. I then plan lessons with a variety of activities, keeping the student engaged while they learn. After a session or two the lessons become focused on completing goals which we discuss throughout our time together and making sure everything is understood. I also go through exam preparation, as well as working through learning related stress and anxiety. I approach learning from all angles, and I understand that intelligence is about more than just remembering facts.
