I am an aeronautical engineer and I am well aware of the frustration of not achieving the desired academic results. I was here. A lot of times. I find it very satisfying to teach and to see how my students achieve their goals. I sincerely believe that learning is a privilege and a pleasure. It is my top priority that my students feel this. My level of mathematics, physics and engineering is very competent. Although of course, for very specific topics or doubts, I will have to analyze whether I am able to teach lessons with ease or not. Do not hesitate to write to me. I am used to working with people of different ages. I believe in segmentation, visualization of progress, objective results and practice. For students who have difficulty I analyze the root of learning problems. And, above all, I try to motivate them. An ideal lesson time would be distributed as follows: 20 minutes question and answer and start from these gaps, 30 minutes to advance, 10 minutes lateral thinking. Beyond these general lines, there is no rule or magic method. Some things work with some students and not with others. Adapting to needs is really the goal of private lessons. So I will do my best to find what motivates and helps my student.

I have a PhD in Mechanical Engineering and currently I work as a post-doc researcher in aerospace Engineering faculty of TU Delft. I have ample experience in teaching all the courses related to Engineering such as mathematics (algebra, probability, calculus, differential equations, and advanced engineering mathematics), Mechanical engineering courses (Statics, Dynamics, Mechanics of materials, Mechanical design, control, vibration, Fluid mechanics, Thermodynamics, Heat transfer, Engineering drawing, etc), Physics (mechanics, electricity, light, waves, etc), CAD/CAM software (Autocad, Solidworks), and Mechanical design packages (ANSYS, ABAQUS, MATLAB, LS-DYNA). Not all the teachers are good at teaching Engineering and Mathematics courses and informing the students about the importance of what they are learning. That is why mathematical based engineering courses (such as Statics or Strength of Materials) are mostly boring for the students. The other problem that many students have with courses with strong mathematical background is that their mathematical basis is weak and therefore they cannot follow the course. I usually try to start my course from the basics and therefore actively engage as many students as possible in the class (even the weak ones). I also usually try to inform the students about the importance of what they are learning in the class by giving them some examples. I will be teaching you one-on-one. We'll see what you want to do, and I help you work towards that goal. I will be using best practices as appropriate to your level. We might work with Jupyter notebooks if you have nothing more specific that you prefer to do. But I can also work with you on analyzing your data, controlling your devices and robots, or even building tools that you feel that you need. Depending on your application, we might even do some machine learning. Some case studies involving students of mine: In one case, I started by automating one report of a financial analyst who had never programmed before, allowing him to start learning Python on during working hours. I also automated one of his side jobs, giving him more disposable income. He has since automated many more of his tasks, and has been providing completely new insights to his company, This has earned him a promotion and a sponsored masters degree. I still provide support as necessary. In another, I enabled a PhD student to analyze their electron-phase micrographs by writing software with them which did the job of commercial software with an expensive license. I was acknowledged by name in their paper. Note: Python 3 only, unless you are required to use Python 2.

Aerospace Engineering is one of the most strange fields of study that can be as it is very detailed and specialized by itself but when you start your Bachelor you see how diverse and amazing these studies can be. However, due to the numerous clausus, only a limited number of students is allowed to enter. As I have successfully passed the entry exam and now I am finalizing my Bachelor (and doing on the side an Honours Programme) I believe I can show toa wide range of students how to pass the entry exam and how to manage to study at TUDelft. My classes will be about the required Mathematics (going also beyond with Calculus I), and Physics (up to even preparing for university courses).
