I provide classes to teach English Language and Literature, drawing on strong academic background. I currently study European Public Health at Maastricht University and have completed the first year of International and European Law at Maastricht University. I achieved an A in my A-level results and earned an 8 (A) in my English Language and Literature GCSE’s. Additionally, I completed an Extended Project Qualification (EPQ) dissertation on Henrik Ibsen ‘A Doll’s House’, for which I was awarded an A.

My tutoring services cover a broad range of skills, including essay writing, grammar, analysis, comprehension, and punctuation. I also specialise in poetry analysis, critical theorising of literary works, the study of academic texts, and identifying figurative language. As a native English speaker, I can offer clear guidance and tailored support to help students excel.

About Me

Hi there! My name is Suad, but everyone calls me Sisi, as I’m both Dutch and Iraqi. My academic background comes from Dubai, where I lived for around 8 years and attended Sunmarke School. I currently study European Public Health at Maastricht University, and I’ve also completed the first year of the European Law School at Maastricht University.

I have an immense passion for the study of English Language and Literature, which was strongly reflected in my Extended Project Qualification (EPQ) during my A-levels. I wrote a 7,800-word dissertation addressing the question: How does Henrik Ibsen use characters in ‘A Doll’s House’ to present ideas about individual human rights? Through this passion, I achieved a grade A.

In my free time, I enjoy writing dissertations and essays that offer critical analysis of plays, poetry, and other pieces of literature. I also take great pleasure in analysing plays and academic writings, uncovering the deeper meanings within texts. To me, English literature is a multidimensional outlet, where one’s emotions resonate within various literary works; it’s a reflection of culture, society, and art.

My goal through these tutoring lessons is to share my love for literature and inspire others with this passion. If I had to describe myself in three words, I would say I’m optimistic, ambitious, and empathetic.
