I graduated from Georgetown University with a bachelor’s degree in Arabic Language and, then, from Hamad bin Khalifa University with a master’s in Translation Studies. I lived, studied, and worked in the Middle East for eight years where I fell in love with the language, the culture, and the people. There, I gained experience teaching in language centers to large groups of students and one-on-one as a private tutor.
