Clarinet lessons for all levels from a graduate at Antwerp and Rotterdam conservatories

In these lessons I would like to teach the student how to tackle a music dictation and how you can study for it. The dictation is very easy after a few lessons; after looking at the harmonization, possible modulations and interval exercises to more easily recognize intervals and memorize melody lines, it will be much easier when you hear a dictation to be able to fill it without error. You will then also have a better relative absolute hearing.

Do you want to learn to play the piano? I will guide you through the first steps in the world of rhythms or melodies (or both if you want). In my lessons, we will concentrate on playing music as well as understanding it so that it will be like a second language for you. I'm Melani Fernandez, I'm 25 years old and I live in Antwerp. I’ve been studying the clarinet since I was 7 years old and I have taught children and teenagers from the age of 20. This is my first year studying here, in Master 1 at the Antwerp Conservatory as a clarinetist. Cello Lessons for all levels: My main goal with my teaching is to share my passion for music with my students. I believe strongly that this passion leads to discipline and curiosity which benefit all other aspects of one's life. Whether or not my students decide to pursue music as their main profession, I believe they have much to gain from learning the cello. Besides the discipline one learns, Music-making in itself is fulfilling!! :) Conservatory Preparation: In my experience as a musician living and working in Belgium for the past 6 years, I have noticed a gap in the musical education of young Belgian music students transitioning from Music academies into Conservatories. Oftentimes, these young music students seeking to enter conservatories do not possess the necessary skill level to enter higher education in Music. Through my private teaching, I intend to bridge this gap by catering specifically (though not exclusively) to these students. I strongly believe that there is a huge demand for this type of teaching which I am capable of providing.

Anyone, at any age, can learn to play the piano if he or she wants. I'm happy to help you. I work with children and adults. I will teach you how to play from scratch or help those who already know how to continue learning. I can also help you prepare for an exam or presentation. I will explain and show everything. The content of the lessons is adapted to the needs and wishes of each student. It is possible to follow a combination of music theory and instrument, or only focus on one aspect. Depending on the student's goal, the level, teaching method and music styles are adjusted and personalized in consultation. Together we will look at what your learning needs are and which method suits you best. I am familiar with different styles for both harp and piano, from classical music (baroque, impressionism, classicism, romanticism and contemporary music), to folk music, jazz standards, pop songs or minimalist music. There is also the option to work from improvisations. The lessons are suitable for all ages and levels, the personal profile of the student is central.

I have been learning the violin and piano since 5 years old, and am currently taking a bachelor's in Music Performance in Violin, at the Royal Conservatory of Antwerp. Students of any age are welcome, and I have special experience with beginner and younger students, having given a lot of lessons in piano and music theory. I teach in English, Portuguese, Spanish, and basic Dutch. The individual violin lessons are personalized and tailored to the progress and learning ability of each student. Emphasis is placed on developing good posture and ease of movement at the early stage. We will then continue to revise and enhance technique while taking on a more challenging repertoire as they progress. My name is Ana and I am a Spanish flutist living in Antwerp. I offer flute and music classes for any level and age live or online. I have already finished my flute bachelor in Zaragoza (Spain) and now I am studying the Master in the Royal Comservatory of Antwerp.

I teach for all levels, from children starting from zero to students who want to prepare certifications at the Conservatories, passing through amateurs or simply curious of any age. Hey! My name is Richard and I give private lessons to all levels. For guitar, it is important that you can improve yourself in a pleasant environment in a fun way where your interests are central. Do you want to delve deeper into a certain style? Do you want to create your own sound on your guitar using amps, and pedals, ...? I can help you with all that! Knowledge of solfège or music theory is not required, we can always discuss this in class if you wish, but that is certainly not mandatory ;) I have been playing the guitar since I was 9 years old and for several years now I have been playing in professional bands with which I have been able to play on sugar rock, for example.
