I am Celeste, private Italian teacher living in Amsterdam.
With me you will be proactively involved through the learning process so we will have nice conversations about a topic that we will choose together : it could be art, music, cinema, sport, nature, food or whatever you like the most!
I will also organize some activities both indoor and outdoor to do together where you will test your Italian. (not now with the corona but as soon as possible)
Of course, during our talks I will give you grammar tips and vocabulary focus.
I will provide you the needed material.
Lessons are both online and in person.

Hi there,
It is very important for me that you feel comfortable during the lesson, that you do not feel afraid to commit mistakes. Learning a new language can be very stressing, (I know because I am learning dutch too :) ) so we will always be more focused on speaking and from there I will help you to build grammar and pronunciation. So we will choose a topic or I will give you something to read together like an italian recipe, an italian journal paper or a part of a book that I like so you will be involved proactively in my culture :)

I got my diploma at Socrate, the classical lyceum of my city in Bari and then I attend the course of Science of Cultural Heritage at University of Bari.
I moved to Amsterdam tu study the dutch language and to work in an international environment.

I've been preparing students for the A-Levels and GCSE (language + literature). I can prepare you for specific examinations, language lessons in general or teach you Italian for business. The lessons are for everyone, whatever their age or level (children to adults). I will make sure that you discover the Italian culture through the lessons, learn the correct pronunciation and of course learn some grammar. I am open to your needs and can speak a few languages to make sure you understand fully the lessons (of course, we’ll try to use mostly Italian in all our lessons depending on your level).

I was born in Italy, but I have spent the last two years of my life traveling the world, mainly in Central and South America and the Middle East and Central Asia, traveling and working remotely.

I am a professional teacher with 7 years of experience. I worked on the translation of medical and legal articles, and panels in the glass museum in Venice and worked as an interpreter at the court of Venice.
I have a language degree, I am certified in international law, and I am a language coach. Language coach means that I not only teach you a language but also how to learn new languages!
I will closely monitor your entire learning journey, to get the most out of your skills!
That's because I like learning new languages! That's why, after years of studying, I became a polyglot (8 languages - Italian, English, Spanish, French, Japanese, Arabic, Hebrew, Dutch) and devised a method to teach you the language you want to learn!

The course develops according to the level and the needs (school studies in college or high school, work, etc.). For students, courses can be help with homework, remedial work, school monitoring. For adults rather exchanges and conversation. In relation to economics, I took the Economic and Social Science (SES) specialty in high school (18/20 at the baccalaureate) so I am able to give support courses for this subject to middle school students.

I graduated from a linguistic high school in 2019, studying English, French, and Spanish as subjects of focus. I also got an ESABAC degree (French diploma). Moreover, I traveled a lot to get in contact with mother tongue people and to improve my language skills. I have recently moved to the Netherlands and I am planning on starting a PPE Bachelor in September.
