My guitar classes are shaped around you—your musical taste, your goals, and the way you learn best. Whether you’re into rock, metal, pop, blues, or anything in between, we’ll use the music you love as the foundation of your progress. I blend technique with practical music theory so everything makes sense on the fretboard. Along the way, we’ll explore triads and tetrads, pentatonic scales and modes, chord and arpeggio shapes, harmonic fields, the circle of fifths, and core techniques like tapping, sweep, alternate, and economy picking—always in a clear, musical, and approachable way. I’ve been a guitarist since 1998 and studied Popular Guitar at FAAM and Music Pedagogy at UFSCAR in Brazil. In 2025, I graduated with First Class Honours from the University of West London. Alongside teaching, I’ve always been active as a composer, recording artist, and performing guitarist in numerous bands. Since 2016, I’ve owned and composed for Arken, a heavy metal band with three albums released. The main outcome of my classes is to help you truly own the instrument—playing comfortably, confidently, and improvise musically. From there, you’ll be able to learn and play any songs you want, and even create your own music if that’s your goal. Beginners and advanced players are equally welcome. No matter your style or experience, I’m confident I can guide you toward the skills you need to play with confidence and enjoyment.

This Music Theory class is designed to help students truly understand how music works, not just memorise rules. The course is practical, applied, and directly connected to playing music, especially at the piano. Students learn music theory in a clear and structured way, covering harmony, rhythm, form, and listening skills, while immediately applying these concepts to real music. The class supports pianists, singers, composers, and instrumentalists at beginner, intermediate, and advanced levels. Alongside Western classical and contemporary theory, students also explore Bollywood music, popular harmony, and stylistic elements from modern genres. The aim is to build strong musical awareness, confidence, and independence. How the Class Is Conducted 1. One-to-one online sessions 2. Concepts explained clearly using examples at the piano 3.
