In a typical class I would first survey what the student already knows and discuss the concepts with them making sure they understand them very well then we would move on to discussing examples and non-examples (this would take most of the class). Finally we would solve problems together discussing them as we go along. This of course can vary from student to student, their level and time available.

(Havo/Vwo for music and dance.) When I finished the preparatory course I continued with the Bachelor at the Rotterdam conservatory. At the moment I am studying in the first year of my Master. Furthermore, I find it important to focus the lessons on the basic principles of piano playing. Notation, rhythmic skills and a good body and hand position. I have been taking lessons from Teodora for a while now and she is a very friendly and warm person, as well as a very good cello teacher that knows how to create a pleasant, comfortable atmosphere. I play cello as a hobby and for me it was very important to find a teacher that can adapt to my level. And Teodora does exactly that, I don't feel pressured and have enjoyed every lesson that I had until now. Her technique, style, and way of playing the cello, show that the she has great and in depth knowledge of playing the cello.
