Hello, My name is Eva, and I am a flutist and flute and recorder teacher from Slovakia, currently based in Brussels. I offer one-on-one private lessons for adults and kids from the age of 6. I studied flute performance and pedagogy at The Academy of Performing Arts in Bratislava (Slovakia), The Royal Academy of Music in Aarhus (Denmark), and I participated in numerous masterclasses with flutists such as Sharon Bezaly, András Adorján, Ulla Miilmann, etc. I am trained in all styles of classical music, but I am particularly interested in contemporary music. My teaching specialty is using extended flute techniques to help my students discover their best sound more easily and have more fun while learning to play. I have successfully taught individuals with visual impairments and various learning disabilities. Hru na flaute a pedagogiku som študovala na Štátnom konzervatóriu v Košiciach, Vysokej škole múzických umení v Bratislave a absolvovala som študijný pobyt na Kráľovskej hudobnej akadémii v Dánsku. Okrem toho som sa zúčastnila mnohých majstrovských kurzov pod vedením slovenských, českých a ďalších medzinárodne uznávaných zahraničných flautistov. Mám viac ako 8 rokov skúseností s učením hry na priečnej a zobcovej flaute (súkromné hodiny, ZUŠ, VŠMU) a tiež s vyučovaním osôb so zrakovým postihnutím a poruchami učenia. Trusted teacher: I am a professional pianist offering private piano and theory lessons to students of all levels. As a pianist 12 years of teaching experience and over 21 years of playing, I enjoy motivating my students with music of their own preferred style and interest, whether that be classical or contemporary. My main goal is to promote a positive experience and love for music-making during the course of learning piano. If the student is interested in a more serious approach, I can also guide preparation for grades 1-8 of the Associated Board of the Royal Schools of Music (ABRSM) exams. I also have successful experience preparing students for entrance to conservatory and for various competitions. Recently, my students have achieved highest marks in the ABRSM exams as well as prizes in competitions. We also have a class concert for interested students twice per year. I am happy working in both a relaxed and serious approach, we simply need to discuss the objectives of the student. My own studies are as follows: I have obtained two postgraduate degrees at the Royal Conservatory of Antwerp: "Concertsoloist" in Piano Performance and "Chamber Music." Prior to this, I received my Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees in Piano Performance/Music from University of Minnesota and TCU-Fort Worth, TX, USA. You'll learn how to move your limbs to play a nice drum groove, you'll discover the rudiments on the snare-drum which later you will start apply to the drumset. You will learn to recognize which instruments in the drumset makes you fall in love for the drum beat of your favorite tune. Also you will learn how to read rhythm and a drum score! Alex is the best guitar teacher ever for me! Not only he knows exactly how to guide a student according to his level ,he has so many different approaches for each individual students, I don’t have a lot of time to practice as a busy mom with a 3 year old kid, but some how he found a method really adapted my rhythm and make me grow every lesson I have without practicing at all;but also he is a very kind teacher, every time I feel like I’m having a lesson with an old friend:)) would highly recommend Alex to anyone who would like to take a guitar lesson from all levels!

I had my first lesson today and I was immediately struck with the feeling that I am in the presence of a maestro in Piano playing, a professor in teaching and an extremely patient pedagogue. It was like Lydia knew me for years and instantaneously detected my strengths and my weaknesses in my piano playing and practice. Excellent coaching! The lesson is really enjoyable. Ana helps me improve greatly without making me feel stressed at all. She kindly points out the problems and keeps encouraging me to use the right techniques. She even writes down summary of the exercises at the end of the lesson so I can follow in my daily practice.
