I am Ángel, a practicing composer and winner of several national and international awards, with academic training in the United States and extensive experience teaching music production and music at universities, schools, and conservatories. My works have premiered in venues around the world (USA, Spain, Mexico, Peru, Colombia, etc.).
My teaching approach is 100% practical and individualized: I adapt each class to your musical tastes, your level, and your personal goals.
What will we do in these Music Production classes?
You'll learn to bring your own musical ideas to life and turn them into finished songs with professional quality. We can focus the classes on the genre you like best (jazz, classical, contemporary, film music/film scoring, electronic, pop, etc.).
The syllabus adapts to you:
• For beginners: Learn to compose and produce your first song from scratch. Get to know your DAW (production software) environment, MIDI programming, using virtual instruments, and basic recording.
• For intermediate/advanced levels: Refining arrangement techniques, sound design, professional mixing and mastering so that your tracks sound at industry level.

As an award-winning composer (RTVE Award for Best Film Score) with a Master's degree in Composition from Kent State University (USA), I bring to your table an internationally renowned methodology.
My goal is to share with you the same creative techniques I use in the professional industry and have taught at high-performing American institutions. In my hands-on classes you will be able to:
-Learn with a professional vision: From the fundamentals of harmony, counterpoint and the development of motifs, to advanced orchestration and compositional fluency.
-Create soundtracks: Discover the narrative tools applied to music for film, television and video games, guided by an internationally multi-award-winning composer.
-Develop your own voice: Overcome creative blocks and bring your own musical ideas to life in any style or genre.
-Academic preparation: If you are looking to pass entrance exams to the conservatory, I will guide you with the utmost rigor thanks to my teaching experience backed by a Master's degree in Teacher Training.
Classes are available in person at my studio in Terrassa or online, and can be taught entirely in Spanish or in English to focus on the global market.
