I have worked fulltime, for the past 15 years, as a language teacher and translator. I was born in Sweden, to Danish parents and live with an Englishman. I teach said three languages to both private and commercial clients, placing great emphasis on client needs and abilities. Cultural knowledge is also very important to the understanding of any language and is therefore included in all courses. The dreaded grammar is the fundamental building block to a language, but I try to make it as fun as possible.......as well as the homework and self-study.

Danish for beginners and current students who are learning Danish in school and need some help with their material. I am born and raised in Denmark so my Danish level is native 100%. I am also open to working with Arab-speaking people to strengthen your Danish. Depending on your level, we will work with some fun activities, and do some speech exercises as well. Update 15/09/2020: I have, by now, had experience with 2 different age groups on Apprentus; A 7-year-old and a 29-year-old. With me as your teacher you get a skilled translator and linguist who has taught Danish for years, has lived in Norway and Sweden and studied Old Norse. I have a very deep understanding of the Danish and Scandinavian languages and a broad knowledge of all of the Germanic languages, speaking English and German fluently and a bit of Flemish. I have plenty of experience from the pupil's position as well having learnt French, Spanish, Serbo-Croatian and Russian myself. As such, I am open to suggestions from my pupils and willing to accommodate their wishes when teaching.

I'm a speech and language pathologist (Audiologopæd, in danish) with a masters degree i audiologopedics. Through my education I've learned a lot about stutter, laryngeal cancer, speech difficulty, bilingualism etc. Furthermore I have knowledge of where in the mouth the sounds need to be produced in order to achieve a correct danish accent.
