This course will cover jazz theory topics such as writing a cohesive chord progression, chord spelling, scale use, and writing melodies. It will also cover sight reading, solo transcription, and learning standards in the different eras of jazz, from Traditional Jazz to Hard Bop to Fusion.

Musician from a young age, I am currently finishing the MASTER in JAZZ DRUMS from the HEMU in Lausanne. I also graduated from the Nantes CRR in the same discipline, as well as from the AGOSTINI school in Angers. I have a great experience of the scene in a field ranging from Current Music to Jazz via Street Arts and Live Performance. I give Drums and Rhythm lessons (also for non drummers) at home or in my room located in the Flon district of Lausanne. My courses are aimed at all levels, and take as a starting point where you are now, while respecting your motivations.
