ClémentThe clarinet, a fascinating instrument! Courses for all ages, all levels, all walks of life.
The clarinet is a fascinating instrument. Its woody timbre, its tessitura close to the voice offers a wide range of musical directions. Whether you want to play classical, jazz, song or world music, we will progress together to connect the song and the instrument. To develop the breath, to consolidate its supports, to feel the rhythm and to shine the melodies, that is the objective!
I adapt my method according to each student but here are the central points of my educational work:
- Warm up: stretching and breathing
- Sound work: beak, held notes, harmonics *
- Technique: ranges, transpositions *
- Repertoire: Piece being learned, reading *, improvisation.
* confirmed students
I attach particular importance to the link between song and instrument. Singing the songs and even the scales improves the musicality, the phrasing, the accuracy to the instrument.
As much as possible, I ask to memorize the pieces. Knowing how to sing a song before playing it is for me the best way to integrate it.
Marcos RufinoLearn the Saxophone in an easy and different way
Yes ! You read correctly !
It is possible to learn a piece easily with the saxophone.
I am a saxophone teacher at the Ecole Internationale de Lausanne, at the Ecole Nouvelle of French-speaking Switzerland, and I regularly teach young students. To get their attention, you have to be creative and you have to see results in a very short time.
That's why I say that I can teach you to play a piece on the saxophone in 3 lessons. So, if you want to try, I'd be happy to show you how.
Marcos begins his studies at the Conservatory of Music of Tenerife. During these years, he studied professional education, specializing in music at the University of La Laguna. Then he took the top grade in the Zaragoza Conservatory of Music, where he finished with Professor Mariano García.
After completing his studies, Marcos graduated from the University of Zaragoza with a Master's degree in Secondary Education.
Currently he is studying the Master's degree - Concert with Pierre-Stéphane Meugé at the HEMU Lausanne.
Very interested in saxophone pedagogy, with extensive experience as a teacher, Marcos offers personalized work with every student, adapting to all ages and levels.

"Without music, life would be a mistake" - Nietzsche
If even the philosophers think it, it is that the music indeed has a universal power which can touch any human being on this earth ...
There is something for everyone, for all ages ... there is everywhere!
Music is what makes me live and passionate more than anything in the world, that's why I like to listen, play and also teach it.
The courses that I propose are adapted according to the wishes of the student, the music must be a moment of pleasure and sharing.
Whether you are beginner or advanced, we will find a formula that will suit you by combining technical, coordination and sound of the instrument.
The ultimate goal is to have fun on the drums while being attentive to the evolution of a piece and the communication with the musicians who will accompany you.
Styles: rock, pop, funk, groove, Afro-Cuban, reggae, blues, jazz ...
So, if you think you are driven by the crazy desire to discover (or re-discover with me) this beautiful instrument, meet us!

IN THE PROGRAM :
- Coordination (hands / feet)

BernardPiano and music theory classes. Classical / jazz. Berklee graduate.
I offer piano and music theory lessons in English, French and Spanish in the Lausanne area.
I graduated "summa cum laude" from the prestigious Berklee College of Music in Boston majoring in film scoring and composition, minoring in conducting and with piano as my main instrument.
Currently my main activity is writing music for films but I have been teaching piano lessons since 2012 and love it! My Berklee education gave me a very solid education, both performance and theory wise, in many different music styles ranging from classical to jazz and rock.
My teaching philosophy is based on enjoyment of the music we create, enjoyment of the learning process, and on developing the ear. This allow the student, from any age, to start expressing themselves very quickly. My students start working hard not because I ask them to, but because they love it!
In addition of the piano part I can also give classes in classical or jazz theory, composing, improvising or music technology. I am also happy to mix any of those.
