Trusted teacher: Dear students and parents, I am an enthusiastic and hard-working multilingual (English, Russian, Turkish, Azerbaijani) Math and Statistics educator and Data Analyst with 12 years of teaching and 16 years of research experience in an international environment. First, as a Math Teacher, my main aim is to encourage students to analyze the problem carefully and find different solutions for one question. This method helps students to choose the easiest way of solution for her/him during the exam and finish it in time. I teach students both ways how to solve questions without a calculator with math tricks, and how to use a calculator more effectively. As you know in the exam there might be non-calculator and calculator papers. Moreover, this ability helps students not only to understand the math subject deeply but also will be very helpful during their adult life. As a Math High-Level and Standard-Level (AA, AI) teacher in IBDP (International Baccalaureate Diploma Program) the part of my teaching also consisted of supervising students’ research projects. Previous research experience in the frame of UNDP (UN Development Program) by that time was very valuable. Being an IB Math Examiner helped me to see the clear picture of students' mistakes done during the solutions. So, I teach students how to show their solutions to get more marks on the exam. Working with British School during this hard time of COVID taught me to be prepared for any challenges, to make decisions in a very short time, to be ready for any daily but very important changes. Teaching online became more interesting by using such helpful math tools as Desmos, GeoGebra, TI 84 Calculator Online, etc. Having teaching experience (Math and Statistics) in one of the top universities of the US (UW-Madison) helped me clearly to see the path of a student from the school bench to the university auditorium. Only by working in both school and university, you can understand what is better to learn for a student to be helpful in the future university years. Years of hands-on work experience and a keen interest in Math teaching as a profession, excellent Math and Statistical skills, a deep understanding of IB Global mission, being curious to learn the new curriculum (IGCSE, A-Level), and clearly seeing the connection between the school and university Math have prepared me well to see strengths and weaknesses of the student and how to use that strong side of a student to improve the gaps that student earned in her/his earlier years. Therefore, I believe that all these experiences will help me smoothly rise the level of my students and succeed in their future life. Sincerely, Leila

Trusted teacher: I have a Doctorate degree in Mathematics. Maths is a wonderful subject, which one needs in all spheres. It is the basic of all subjects. A few applications are defined below: Trigonometry: Calculus is related with trigonometry and algebra. The fundamental trigonometric functions like sine and cosine are used to define the sound and light waves.Trigonometry is further used in oceanography to measure the heights of waves and tides in oceans. It is used in satellite systems, and to create maps. The famous Pythagoras' Theorem finds its' application in determining how tall a ladder needs to be in order to safely place the base away from the wall so it does not turn over. Probability and Statistics: Probability problems infer conclusions about characteristics of hypothetical data taken from the population. Probability explains the mathematical chance that something might happen, and is used in numerous day- to-day applications. Calculus : We can find the (or global) minimum and maximum values of a function as well as the relative (or local) minimum and maximum values of a function. Differential Equation: Differential equations are applied to predict the world around us, and used in a wide variety of disciplines, from biology, economics, physics, chemistry and engineering. It has applications in exponential growth and decay model, Newton's law of cooling, and Circuit theory, e.t.c. I have teaching experience for more than 15 years. My students are from all corners of the globe, and of all ages. I also make them learn Mathematics in English, so that they can excel in future. I am well acquainted will all the topics of mathematics, at all levels from schools to colleges. Children like my style of teaching.

Trusted teacher: My Academics: ◦ A-Level Chemistry (A*) Maths (A*) Physics (A) Biology AS (A) ◦ GCSE Chemistry (A*) Physics (A*) English (A*) Maths (A) About my sessions 📚 What a typical lesson looks like 📚 • To begin, I set quickfire starter questions to revisit last lessons content • Then we move to the new content and learning (Fun & highly interactive!) • Near to the end we try some questions on the new material (To gauge understanding) • To conclude, we finish with a brief chat about progress and address any final burning questions! The lessons I deliver are highly student-oriented and interactive. My students find that a high level of interactivity and communication helps them to remember facts and information easier. I work hard to ensure that students feel comfortable using the online lesson space. The most important part of learning is making mistakes - This is why I highly encourage student participation in my tutorials. My previous students have communicated to me that this method significantly builds their confidence and is a highly valuable component in making effective progress in our lessons. 200+ practice questions from Each Topic. Leila (Shamira)
I ordered a lesson from Leila for my daughter. She needed help with Calculus. Leila is really professional in Math and pedagogy. She carefully researched needs of my daughter and prepared a worksheet based on her gaps and progress. This is really professional approach. Moreover her explanations are clear and easy understandable. For some questions she showed even 2 or 3 solutions. My daughter is very happy with math lessons of Leila.

Anmol
Anmol helped me with my statistics assignments and I am very happy with the level of support I received: He is very patient and repeats things when needed but also allows me to try my own approaches and give my own reasoning for the problems. He also provided me with a lot of additional material to further my learning. I highly recommend!

Oliver
We are just getting started, but our experiences with Oliver have been great so far. He is prompt to communicate, professional and very patient. He does a good job of understanding where my daughter is, helping her at her level, and not making her feel bad that she is having a tough time with Math. Highly recommend!
