Trusted teacher: After successfully completing his music studies (Music Bachelor), he won a grant from the Brazilian government and emigrated to the Netherlands to take up postgraduate studies at the Rotterdam Conservatory with Prof. Vladimir Mendelssohn. He received his Masters in Solo Performance and Chamber Music with Honors. His diverse musical activities have taken him - both as a soloist, chamber musician and teacher - on concert tours to Brazil, Portugal, France, Germany, Austria, Eastern Europe, North Africa and Asia. Jadenir lived in Vienna from 2007 to 2016. There he performed between 2005 and 2010 as principal violist of the “Spirit of Europe” chamber orchestra, in which he was also a member of the artistic advisory board and was involved in planning-relevant decisions on artistic and organizational issues. He also played in the RSO Vienna and the Ambassade Orchestra Vienna. Jadenir has lived and worked in Berlin since 2016. With chamber music as the center of his life, he founded several ensembles with different line-ups in 2017. In addition to his artistic activity, viola lessons have been an important part of his life for many years. As a viola teacher, he has been in close contact with music festivals and music schools since 2007, especially those that are dedicated to social projects. About my viola lessons I offer dynamic and playful lessons. The goal of my lessons is to break the barrier between music and technology, so these are not taught separately from each other. Rather, I see technology as the merging of movement, breathing and sound. Beginners and advanced learners of all ages from 10 years are welcome. I convey all kinds of music, their style and technique. I am happy to help advanced students prepare for entrance exams, auditions, auditions and competitions. I also offer coaching for chamber music ensembles. The key to successful viola lessons lies in a transparent and open exchange: I therefore encourage the students to share their needs and expectations; and the family is also involved in their musical development. My two main instruments were made especially for me and I was able to exchange ideas with the violin makers during the instrument making, which gave me extensive knowledge of the manufacture, setup and care of a string instrument. I recently started taking violin lessons from Christian. As someone who has 0 experience with the violin, or any other instrument for that matter, I was a bit nervous but excited. Despite my total lack of experience, Christian is incredibly patient, he never rushes me and always takes the time to answer my questions, no matter how basic. We started with the absolute basics, which is exactly what I needed. He finds a way to explain complicated things in a way that makes sense to me, which makes the whole process less intimidating. His teaching style is perfect for someone like me, coming into music with no background. I wholeheartedly recommend Christian to anyone who's been thinking about picking up the violin! His patience, expertise, insightfulness and supportive nature have made my start in music both enjoyable and fulfilling. Bonus points for speaking English.
