About me: The Belgian soprano Jolien (°1992) started her studies in Music Education and obtained her master’s degree in June 2015. In June 2021 Jolien graduated from Luca School of Arts Leuven with a master’s degree for Classical Voice, with her teacher Catherine. Jolien had numerous masterclasses in LUCA School of Arts where has worked with some prominent artists such as Thomas Blondelle, Ilse Eerens, Daniela Musca, Rosemary Joshua, Audrey Hyland, Mariette Witteveen en Clemens Morgenthaler.
As a participant at the masterclasses organized by Triomphe de l’Art, Jolien worked with Nino Machaidze, Angélique Noldus and Anna Samuil.
During her education as a classical singer, Jolien worked in operaprojects led by Michel Tilkin: Mrs. Gobineau (The Medium, G.C. Menotti), Second Woman (Dido and Aeneas, H. Purcell), King Harald’s Saga voor solo soprano (Judith Weir) and Fiordiligi (Così fan tutte, Mozart). In November 2021 she sang the role of Vitellia (Clemenza di Tito) directed by J. Verlinden and M. Hasepeslagh. This December she will perform the banker’s wife Liliane in Le Chat, a micro- opera of Damien Parmentier, directed by Daniel Donies.
She teaches in Academie Regio Tienen and Academie Tessenderlo.

I am passionate about teaching guitar! Over the last 10 years I have been teaching students from ages 7-70 from complete beginners to advanced players with one thing in common - their wish to play guitar more comfortably and have fun while doing it!

I am a classical guitarist with a background in pedagogy, psychology and physiotherapy, my approach - methodical.
While working on the things you want to improve and learn I will also help you develop a deep understanding of the theory and principles that music is built upon. Our lessons will be exploratory and imaginative whilst also underpinned by technical knowledge so that you can enjoy playing comfortably and without pain.

Graduated in lyric singing at the Institute of Music and Pedagogy of Namur, I offer singing lessons tailored to your desires. I have always been passionate about music, I play three instruments, and I recently finished my piano studies at the Royal Conservatory of Brussels in the class of Piet Kuijken. During my lessons we will explore the possibilities of your voice together. The development of a healthy, natural voice and pleasure are central.
That is why the lessons are completely adapted to your qualities, taste and pace. Together we work on solid singing technique, breathing, articulation, interpretation, musicality and vocal hygiene. We explore the classical singing repertoire and look for music that suits your voice. You can also take a trip to other genres (jazz, pop, musical, ...) Welcome to VIOLINSTUDIO ALLEGRETTO!

Would you like to learn to play the violin according to the Suzuki method? Then you've come to the right place!

A HOBBY FOR EVERYONE!
What could be more fun than discovering the wonderful world of music with your child? The violin lessons start from the age of 4, where you as a parent also learn some basic techniques. This way you are fully involved in the musical education of your son or daughter! But of course you can also start with us as an adult student. Violin lessons are suitable for all ages, from 4 to 99 years old!

LEARN WHILE PLAYING :)
The violin lessons are tailored to each student. For young children we will work playfully full of fantasy and creativity!

HOW DO WE GET STARTED?
We work according to the mother tongue method of Dr. Shinichi Suzuki, where we believe that anyone can learn the language of music, just as you learn to speak. Together we create a musical environment in which music is present every day! In front of? That is not required! You don't need to be able to read notes. We start playing by ear.

PRACTICAL:
- Every week you get an individual lesson of at least 30 minutes. Fancy more? Then that is of course also possible :)
- Additional optional group lessons will start from January. We make music together and learn from each other!
- You don't have a violin yet? I will immediately help you to rent or purchase a suitable instrument.
- You can join at any time of the school year.

Hello! I am cello student from Spain and currently I am doing my Master Degree in LUCA School of Arts in Leuven. I really find music as my passion and I love share my knowledge with people. I have some experience teaching. In my lessons, I think it is most important that students have fun and feel good about themselves, which will hopefully motivate them to improve technically and musically at their own.
