C'est l'élève qui propose les morceaux qu'il désire apprendre. Les explications, et exercices techniques se basent sur ces morceaux choisis et peuvent être complétés par d'autres exercices que je propose.

Tout âge, niveau débutant jusqu'au niveau moyen académique.
Je pratique le français, le néerlandais et l'anglais.

I'm a professional pianist playing piano for already 20 years.

I'm the Third prize winner of the European International piano competition in Italy, and
my academic studies include following:

- Master in Piano Performance in Leuven, Belgium
- Master in Piano Performance at the International University of Valencia, Spain
-Bachelor in Piano Performance at the Higher Conservatory in Salamanca, Spain and Musikhochschule Freiburg, Germany

I have studied with some of the leading concert pianists known internationally, including Dmitri Bashkirov, Joop Celis and Eldar Nebolsin.

I have given concerts in several concert halls in Spain, Belgium, Portugal and Germany.

I would be glad to help you improve in your playing! The music styles which I teach are classical music and pop music.

The most important thing for me when I teach, is to make the student feel comfortable and enjoy when playing, while improving musically and technically. I can also show you some specific exercises to improve your technique.

I can teach you in English, Spanish, Dutch or German.

A native of Rio de Janeiro, Felipe Olivé began his piano studies under the guidance of Professor Marcilda Clis. Upon entering UNIRIO, he started taking lessons with the pianist and composer Claudio Dauelsberg. He holds a degree in piano from the Hochschule für Musik Karlsruhe in Germany, where he was a student of Professor Kaya Han. He spent 2 years in Portugal, where he taught at the Academia de Música de Almada. He also received guidance from Professor and pianist Manuel Araújo of the Academia Internacional de Música Aquilles Delle Vigne in Coimbra. Currently, he is pursuing a Master's degree in Piano Performance at LUCA School of Arts in Belgium, with the renowned pianist Sylvia Thereza as his teacher.

He has been awarded in national and international competitions, such as the VII Sardoal Young Talent Award (2nd Prize - ex-aequo in the Piano Solo category; 2nd Prize and Best Portuguese Duo in the Piano Duo category), the Prof. Dichler-Competition 2022 in Vienna (2nd Prize - ex aequo in the Piano Duo category), the I National Piano Competition of the Villa-Lobos Music School (Honorable Mention) in Rio de Janeiro, and the XXVI Souza Lima Piano Competition (Honorable Mention) in São Paulo.

His classes are intended for anyone who wants to start learning music theory and piano or those who already have basic or advanced knowledge. From Classical to Popular music, his teaching method adapts to the goals and individual desires of the student. During the classes, music theory is taught either concurrently or separately from practice, and the repertoire to be played is chosen collaboratively with the student.

Felipe has years of experience as a concert pianist and teacher in academies and music schools. He seeks the most suitable approach for each student, respecting their learning pace, helping overcome difficulties, and exploring their strengths, always encouraging progress.
