About Me

Andrés , violiste de gambe et violoncelliste, mène une carrière internationale avec plusieurs ensembles de musique ancienne. Il est membre fondateur de Vestigium, qui a obtenu le 1er prix du concours Juventudes Musicales de España en 2023 et le 3e prix du Concours International de Musique Ancienne Maurizio Pratola à L'Aquila (Italie) en 2024. Il est actuellement le professeur de viole de gambe au Conservatoire à Rayonnement Régional de Grenoble.
Il a commencé sa formation avec Javier Aguirre au Conservatorio Profesional de Música de Salamanca. Ensuite, il a poursuivi ses études supérieures de viole de gambe et de violoncelle baroque au Conservatoire Royal de Bruxelles, respectivement avec Philippe Pierlot et Hervé Douchy. He currently teaches viola da gamba at the Conservatoire à Rayonnement Régional de Grenoble.

As a violinist: I am currently a student at the Geneva University of Music, after having followed the pre-professional course at the Conservatoire de Musique de Genève. During my career, I won several prizes such as the Vatelot Rampal competition in Paris and the Jeunesses Musicales of Switzerland soloist, and string quartet (alongside Julie Berthollet in particular). I also attended the Indianapolis University Academy summer internship.

As a Pedagogue: in addition to sporadically giving individual lessons for 4 years, I was part of the "Jeunesses Musicales of Switzerland" youth and youth internship team for three consecutive years.
