IB Diploma - IGCSE and MYP Mathematics, Mathematics-Economics teacher: professional support

IB Diploma - IGCSE and MYP Mathematics, Mathematics-Economics teacher: professional support

Are you looking for support for your child? Does your child have difficulties following the subject matter of the IB Diploma or Abitur and feels overwhelmed? Your reason for reading: Ever since I was born, my curiosity has never been contained - I was always looking for new challenges and as soon as something interested me, I wanted to know everything about it, no matter how long it took. Among my friends and colleagues, I am known for familiarizing myself with new topics in a very short time and developing a profound understanding The key to success: Education. In my opinion, free education is the highest and most valuable asset we have and we should do everything we can to continuously educate ourselves. At this point, it would be wrong to say that "unfortunately" everyone is knitted differently. Thank God this is exactly the case and this is where the biggest problem in our society begins. Even in the early years we are not optimally encouraged. Parents try their best to give their children the best education, but they and the teachers are often overwhelmed by the situation at school. Of course, this is not entirely the fault of the teachers. Imagine supporting 30 children individually in 90 minutes. Effectively this means 3 minutes for each child and now they see your own daughter or son trying to explain a complex task in that time - let's be honest! Here it quickly becomes clear that this is not only too little time for your child, we would also fail because of it. Always looking for self-optimization: Self-optimization has rarely been worth as much as it is today. I teach students from all walks of life and this is what I love about my job and why I ended up becoming a personal coach. Inflation does not only exist in the economy, knowledge is also inflationary in education. Once we stop and continue to educate, over time our level of knowledge becomes less valuable. So we have to do something to educate ourselves. Achieve goals: My goal is to give your daughter or son the best possible education in exactly the subject where most people fail - mathematics. It doesn't matter whether it's in the German Abitur or in the International Baccalaureate (IB Diploma), mathematics is a big hurdle for most people. My goal is to make this hurdle easier for your child. This includes not only dryly explaining tasks - no, but restoring fun and motivation. Nobody wants to study for something where they have the feeling of standing in front of a wall and only understand the train station. In the end, I want your child to be prepared with a deeper understanding and to lose the fear of difficult tasks. For this, I optimize learning techniques, fill in gaps, and see where your child's individual goal is. In the end, your child should go to my lessons in a tailor-made way and optimally supported. Of course, I'm not a silver bullet and development varies from student to student, but my personal aim is to offer you premium service clothing that is otherwise rarely found on the market. Thank you for your interest Did you know? On average, a reader decides within the first few seconds whether to read a text to the end. Best regards, Yves Maurice

Piano lessons in Berlin for beginners to advanced students with a graduate of the Mozarteum and the UdK.

Piano lessons in Berlin for beginners to advanced students with a graduate of the Mozarteum and the UdK.

German below - I started learning piano at the age of five and was lucky enough to work with the same teacher for thirteen years. During my university years at the University Mozarteum Salzburg and the University of the Arts Berlin, I had the chance to experience different teachers and approaches to music. Through this, I came to understand how important it is to find a teacher you connect with, and how our needs can change throughout our musical journey. In my teaching, I prioritize giving my students the tools they need to become independent musicians themselves: knowing how to practice effectively, improving their sight-reading skills (which opens up an entire library of music), understanding their own strengths and areas where they can improve, and building a solid foundation of basic music theory as far as it is relevant for their piano playing. A typical lesson looks like this: we start with a warm-up, review the previous week's practice, work on current repertoire, and set clear goals for the week ahead. I focus on helping students approach new music with more understanding and confidence. At the same time, I feel that individuality can sometimes be overlooked in the process of improving as musicians. For me, it is equally important to leave space for creativity, through improvisation, exploring different interpretation options, listening to different recordings, and discovering different repertoire or musical styles. Spanish / Spanisch / Español. High quality classes. Experienced teacher from Argentina.

Spanish / Spanisch / Español. High quality classes. Experienced teacher from Argentina.

High quality Spanish classes. Experienced teacher. My name is Luciano and I was born in Buenos Aires, Argentina. I have been teaching Spanish for more than 15 years and I have worked in several institutes and embassies as a teacher and cultural bridge. I am currently living in Berlin where I am developing a personal project and working as a teacher online and in face-to-face classes. Normally I am interested in generating a creative bond with my students and that is why I work with many of them for relatively long periods of time. In the classes I am interested in having a solid grammar structure but the emphasis is on conversation. In this way I feel that a rich and interesting interaction is generated where, honestly, I myself learn from my students‘ experiences and points of view. I am convinced, as a language learner myself, that learning a language is not simply a tool for communication. I feel that to learn another language is to open oneself to another code or way of thinking and perceiving the world. For example, Romance languages (Spanish, Italian, French, etc.) think and feel the world in a different way than Germanic languages (English, German, etc.) I am fascinated by these differences and similarities. Traveling in Japan, I could only admire the beauty of how we represent the world through our language. I feel that in a world that is becoming increasingly depersonalized and where artificial intelligence and algorithms seem to creep into every corner of our lives, maintaining human, imperfect and warm contacts is a form of resistance. In that sense, both in my project with sacred languages such as philosophy and astrology and in language classes, I try to maintain the human dimension and respect the beauty and multidimensionality of communication. Apart from my background in philosophy at university, I am interested in art, politics, culture as an expression of an epoch, psychoanalysis, comparative religions, etc. In this context, with many of my more advanced students we work with texts and films where our interests intersect. For the more beginning classes the emphasis is also on conversation, but with a grammatical framework and progression. That is why I am interested in understanding the students‘ objectives. Whether learning for pleasure or for a trip, to take an international exam or for cultural reasons, I believe that framing the classes in a structure allows the creative to emerge. If you are interested in the approach and are curious, feel free to contact me for a no charge introduction where we can discuss a lesson plan after assessing your level. Thank you for your attention. If you know anyone who might be interested in this approach please share it.

“ I highly recommend Harsh’s swimming lessons, both for beginners and for anyone looking to improve their technique. I started learning freestyle from scratch, and his gradual yet focused approach has helped me make steady progress. What I particularly appreciate is that he doesn’t just explain how to perform each drill, but also why it works and how it relates to the fundamentals of swimming. This makes it much easier to understand the technique and build a solid foundation. He provides useful, targeted feedback from the very first lesson, helping me identify what to improve and correct along the way. The lessons are engaging, varied, and progressively more challenging, with specific drills that allow you to focus on one aspect of your technique at a time. Harsh is knowledgeable, experienced, and very patient, creating a great learning environment. I would definitely recommend his coaching to anyone looking to learn how to swim properly or take their swimming technique to the next level. ”

“ Javier is an incredible teacher! He is not just teaching me piano, but really helping me to understand how music is structured and the reasons behind compositional choices. A very generous and experienced teacher, who is dedicated to broadening my music horizons and improving my playing freedom. I can highly recommend him, especially for intermediate players like myself who feel a bit lost and are looking for structure and direction. ”

“ Stephen's lesson on harmony was just what I needed! I had a few specific questions to brush up on, and he explained everything super clearly and in a way that made it easy to apply to my work. He's knowledgeable and approachable—I’d definitely recommend him to anyone looking to deepen their understanding of music theory! Or if you're like me and need a quick refresh of all the things you forgot years ago from school 😅 ”
