The purpose of the first meeting is to get to know the student and determine his current level in mathematics, what are his strengths and weaknesses, and what are the objectives to be achieved. From the observation, I establish with the student and his parents an educational assessment (notions to be reviewed as a priority, working method, duration and frequency of lessons) aimed at best meeting the student's objectives. Our weekly meetings aim to unblock the student, show him the systematic nature of each question and help him understand why it is necessarily such a formula or such property that applies, and how to write it rigorously in control. We work directly on DST topics to familiarize ourselves, well in advance, with the questions and problems that lie ahead on D-Day. METHODOLOGY First of all I learn about the resources available to the student (lessons from his teacher, exercises, supervised homework, homework ...) in order to see with him what is causing him problems. Then for each problem encountered, I suggest that he try to find a solution with clues. If he still can't find it then I show him a solution and then I make him discover variants. Florina teaches us (me and my boyfriend) Spanish twice a week in our house in tenerife for 2 months. Each session lasting two and a half hours. She is an incredible support in learning Spanish with her gentle, humorous manner. Not only does she always come perfectly prepared and is genuinely concerned that we understand everything, but she also highlights cultural aspects of life in the Canary Islands by sharing stories with us and engaging us in conversations. We are super happy with Florina's service and we highly recommend her. It's the small details which make the difference. During our last session with her, we bake some pancakes at home with her to practice the language. What a great idea 😍 Even when she had to go to France for work, she organised Monica as deputy. What a perfect service :)

Very easy to talk to about different subjects and as we had a conversation lesson it was perfect. She was in time. Since she understands English and French it was easy and fast to find out the italian words that I couldn't express in Italian but I knew in French or English. This was a first lesson.
