I have had a wonderful 4-week italian intense course with Emma in fall 2025. My goal was to experience a 1:1 course in person and also being able to apply the learnt stuff directly when going out at night. Thus it was clear to me, to go onsite to Italy. Emma not only managed to keep the fun and interest level up during the weeks of the course, she also recommended places and things to do in Pisa. With her help I was also able to find a cozy and clean accomodation right next to the teaching-spot, in the very heart of this beautiful city. A perfect course package for me. Over all I cannot be happier with the experience made. I could noticeably improve my italian from beginner to intermediate level, found some new friends and contacts in Pisa and overall I now really feel a certain confidence of using and applying the language with natives. Gemma was a wonderful teacher. Her and I walked around Florence while she was simultaneously teaching me Italian. Her easy going and positive attitude made learning fun while also being very substantial. Gemma is super patient, and after the second day I could construct longer, more complicated sentences. I had mentioned some struggles I have had within schooling where I struggled with pronouns and prepositions, and by the first day I could do it easy no problem due to her explanations being very good. Overall I Gemma is a very good tutor and I highly recommend her.
