I create exercises based on a topic chosen by me or by the student (it can be a movie, a news story, a song, a book, etc.). The goal is to generate motivation and gradually master the language. I have taught in kindergartens (to children four and five years old), in schools (primary and secondary), in English academies (to adolescents and adults). I give private individual and group classes. .... Hello! My lessons are dynamic, flexible, and suitable for each student's needs. They can be playful and breezy. They can also be focused on preparing for official exams (PET, FCE, and CAE), resumes, and job interviews. We'll practice conversation, reading comprehension, writing, and listening through a wide range of activities. I prepare exercises based on a chosen topic (a series, a movie, a piece of news, a song, a book, etc.). The aim is to make my students feel encouraged and help them master the language. I have got teaching experience in kindergartens (four and five-year-old children), primary and secondary schools, English institutes (to teenagers and adults), as well as individual and group private lessons.

In addition to private coaching, I also work for an online ESL company delivering English lessons to children across a range of age groups. In addition, I also work as an ESL proofreader and IELTS private tutor here in The Hague. I hold a BA (Hons) degree and have a CELTA qualification. Prior to a career in ESL English teaching, I worked in the UK national press for the Times and Financial Times newspapers. It was there I developed my proofreading and communications skills. I can't reccommend Claude enough! I reached out to him about doing some French classes to prepare for an exam that I needed to sit in work. I wasn't sure what it would entail but gave him the vague information I had. He created bespoke classes for me which covered a vast amount in a short amount of time. He managed to blend seamlessly the different aspects of language learning (aural, oral and written) during our classes and explained very complicated grammar points in a clear, precise way. He has a wealth of knowledge which he shares so generously. If you are looking for engaging, interactive classes with a teacher who is passionate about the language and can adapt to any level, look no further!
