Professional musician and conservatory teacher gives clarinet lessons at home for all levels: CLASSIC, KLEZMER (holder of the Moishe Beregowski prize, apprenticeship with David Krakauer), BALKAN, JAZZ. Passionate about transmitting and sharing music. I have acquired numerous experiences, both human and educational. In addition to individual lessons, I often travel to the provinces to lead master classes in conservatories, music schools or during internships. I consider that if rigor is necessary in learning music, it is even more essential to take pleasure in working on your instrument. In other words: you have to have fun while working. This is why I developed an exo-piece method. Interesting pieces to play (depending on the student's level of course) with a very targeted technical interest allowing the student to progress while having fun. In summary, in my classes, you learn to play music (and not an instrument)! I use all technologies in support (recording lessons, sending audio files and YouTube videos about music) to facilitate learning and develop students' musical knowledge. On the program in the courses: - ear work - interpretation of pieces - development or learning of improvisation techniques - harmony Feel free to message me with any questions Samuel

The clarinet is a single-reed musical instrument in the woodwind family, with a nearly cylindrical bore and a flared bell. Clarinets comprise a family of instruments of differing sizes and pitches. The clarinet family is the largest woodwind family, ranging from the BB♭ contrabass to the E♭ soprano. The B♭ soprano clarinet is the most common type, and is the instrument usually indicated by the word "clarinet". German instrument maker Johann Christoph Denner is generally credited with inventing the clarinet sometime around the year 1700 by adding a register key to the chalumeau, an earlier single-reed instrument. Over time, additional keywork and airtight pads were added to improve the tone and playability. Today the clarinet is a standard fixture of the orchestra and concert band and is used in classical music, military bands, klezmer, jazz, and other styles.
