My Name is Kristian, and I am a Cellist and Singer (Tenor). I have played and sung professionally for a few years now, at the age of 22. I have experience playing in orchestras and singing in operas and concerts.

In our Theory classes, I will be able to assist anyone with problems regarding theory exams. Theory can be challenging but worth it once understood!

Singing classes will be tailored to make sure you feel confident and comfortable singing! We can cover all genres and I will share my experience in how to warm up appropriately in order to be on top form.

About Me

Classically trained musician, with already extensive experience in the professional performing world as a Tenor, wanting to help and inspire people to enjoy music making.

I have a bright personality, and enjoy singing and playing music, hoping to share that joy with potential students! I have had various experience, playing in orchestras growing up and having some great tutors to lead the way. I have performed in Operas, most notably, Carmen. I sing to a high standard, and am currently Studying a Masters in Musical Theatre Performance.

I have an incredible wealth of experience teaching classical music. I specify all the way from baroque music to contemporary and can apply to any age. I am currently at the prestigious Royal Academy of Music under the tutelage of the Head of Vocals there and have years of experience with the voice. I have just completed my music degree where I specialised in contemporary classical singing and opera. I have experience singing jazz, pop and musical theatre and have completed one year on a Vocal Studies course at a Music Conservatoire. I have Grade VIII in Violin and Classical Voice, Grade VI in piano and Pop and Jazz Vocals and recently achieved a 1st for my final degree recital and composition. The techniques that you gain from classical training can be applied to all genres and give a strong foundation to be able to perform any music you may be interested in. Music has always been a huge part of my life and I would be thrilled to pass on my knowledge. I studied music at university and have Grade 8 in both piano and vocals, but I have also performed in many different venues across the UK. I have helped previous students with stage-fright and anxiety with performing as well as aiding them learn their favourite songs on piano - and singing along at the same time. I can teach in many different piano styles from popular music to classical and I can also teach music theory.

I have a deep passion for traditional, holistic yogic practises and I understand that large classes can be overwhelming. I have found that Yoga is very individual, and with gentle 1:1 guidance, has lots room for personal growth. I can teach poses, breathing techniques and meditation to help us feel the best we can.

My singing lessons will aim to develop your vocal skills across a variety of styles, including Soul, RnB, Blues, Jazz, Rock and Pop. Every session begins with compulsory vocal warm-ups, focusing on breath control, vocal exercises, and technique. In each class, you will choose a song you'd like to learn, and I will suggest a second song to complement your skill development. I am a professional operatic tenor and a graduate of the Guildhall School of Music and Drama, where I completed my undergraduate and postgraduate degrees, and continue to perform regularly throughout the country and internationally. I now have 20 years of performing and teaching experience, and specialise in teaching vocal technique and refining tone quality.

I encourage my students to develop healthy singing habits, while combining this with language coaching, interpretation and performance skills. I also work regularly with singers for audition preparation, industry professionals and also in vocal rehabilitation.

Learning to sing is the same as any other skill, and everyone is capable of singing well. Singing is unique to each person and I always adapt my lessons accordingly.
