I am a graduate of Manchester School of Theatre and have worked professional around the UK in plays, on screen, and in musical theatre. Hello! My name is Megan and I'm a professional actor and singer based in London. My professional career has spanned plays, musicals, and screen so I have an eclectic mix of experience and am ready to share my knowledge with anyone looking to develop their technique in acting and/or singing. Most recent credit is Shakespeare’s ‘Much Ado About Nothing’ at the RSC in Stratford-Upon-Avon.

Having spent three years at drama school, I have learnt many acting techniques to help with the development and exploration of texts. Whether you're looking to audition with monologues for drama school of youth groups, or are a professional looking for some extra classes, I'm offering a broad range of technical and physical techniques such as Meisner, Stanislavski, and Grotowski.

I began my singing career in opera, before moving to musical theatre, and eventually to my broad range of styles nowadays including rock, pop, jazz and folk. I am offering an acting-based approach to singing and audition development, whilst still teaching the fundamental techniques in order to healthily sustain the voice. These classes can be for fun, for auditions, or for professional development in whichever style the student desires.

My name is Auriane, I live and work between Berlin and Athens. I'am also a professional musician and sing in many languages like Spanish, French, English... My practice is the result of 10 years of musical studies in France.
I also believe that singing is connected to the body and the way we use it, and become more aware of it. I acquired many tools in order to teach you how to sing your favourite songs in your own free way.
I'm convinced that there is not one way to sing "good" : we all have a voice and I am here to help you find it with exercices according to your own needs. With regular practice and a body-based approach, I'am here to guide you on the way to enjoy your voice freely and earn self-confidence and musical enjoyment !

Two keywords form the base of the singing technique I teach: relaxation and engagement. Inspired by the Alexander technique, we need the body to be completely free from any muscle tension before and after producing a sound. Then, to create a sound of quality, the body also needs to be engaged and free. By releasing all the unnecessary tension, you will be able to sing all the arias of your dreams. I will give some weekly exercises in singing and music theory and we will correct them together during the lesson.
I was part of the choir of the French public radio broadcaster for 7 years. I have a diploma in Music theory from the CRR of Boulogne-Billancourt. I even have a degree in Pop music and I am currently finishing my Master's in musical theatre and composition.
My lessons are for all ages, all levels, and all voices. I specialised in the voice of Countertenor.

With this course, you'll learn how to use your voice, from the basics, like tuning, to more advanced techniques like vibrato, melismas, and different vocal projections. If you already know how to play an instrument that accompanies your voice but can't yet sing and play at the same time, I'll teach you how to blend the two. This course, depending on your skill level, will help you improve to the point where you can use your voice with ease.
