I’m a SideFX Certified Instructor and 3D artist with 20 years of experience in CGI. I offer one-to-one online Houdini lessons tailored to your level, interests, and goals.

If you’re new to Houdini, we can start with the interface, nodes, attributes, and the principles of procedural modeling. If you already use it, we can focus on VEX, simulations, lighting and rendering, or building more effective procedural workflows. I can also help you understand and troubleshoot a project you’re working on.

Lessons are practical: we’ll work in Houdini together, and I’ll explain the reasoning behind each step so you can apply what you learn independently. Before our first session, tell me about your experience and what you’d like to achieve, and I’ll prepare a lesson around it.

Extra information

Lessons are held online. Please have Houdini installed and, if you need help with a specific project, send me a brief description of the problem before the lesson. Houdini Apprentice is fine for beginners.

About Me

Hey! I’m a 3D artist and SideFX Certified Instructor, and I’ve been working in CGI and motion graphics for around 20 years. I love messing around with Houdini, procedural workflows, particles, VEX, and all the nerdy tricks that make you think, “Wait, I can do that?”

These are one-to-one lessons built around what you want to learn. If you’re just starting out, we can tackle the interface, nodes, attributes, and procedural thinking without getting lost in a giant network. If you already know your way around Houdini, we can dive into specific tools, build an effect together, or figure out why your current project isn’t behaving.

I like to keep things practical and creative. We’ll work on real examples, break things occasionally, and make sure you understand *why* something works so you can use it in your own projects. Whether you want to level up your skills or just geek out about Houdini, I’d be happy to help!
