About Me

In our music lessons, together we find small goals connected to our daily lives. The goals can be different for everyone, but we will think our music making beyond our lessons rooms - it will boosts your motivations! You can expect a lot imageries and creativity in our lessons; it not only make us more musical, but it helps our motor skills as well. We sing and play all kinds of music, alone, with me, and if you like, with other students as well. If you find a nice piece that you want to learn, you can always bring it as well. We will learn a bit of music theory and solfege, and if you want to have more emphasis on them, we can do that, too.

My musical studies started at age 4 with church choir and piano. At 9 I heard a lute on a CD and immediately fell in love with its sound. My dream to study the lute was then realized at the age of 13, but that was so long to wait for 4 years! That is why I love to teach children as well, especially the lute, because I know there are kids out there who are so eager to learn! I love to teach the guitar as well. If you are not sure about what you want to learn but are just curious, feel free to contact and tryout as well. Everyone is welcome.

Playing the lute is becoming a new trend among little children now. The beauty of its harp-like sound makes practice time a soothing moment for the entire household! It’s possible to play even without knowing how to read music. Children develop various musical skills on it; good ears, theory, ensemble playing, improvisation, etc. Lute Constellation offers lute lessons for children as well. Lutes are available from 44cm (5, 6 y/o).

I am a French historical and modern horn player based in The Hague. I have played the Horn since I was 4 years old and I have two Master's degrees in modern horn and natural horn. I offer you lessons on modern and historical instruments, as well as music theory.

I work with all ages, all levels, and all objectives, and I can even work with other brass. If you want to discover the instrument or perfect it, if you need theory support or practice help, I will adapt my methods to your needs to offer you quality musical time!

I have taught children and adults since 2017, and I truly love leading people their way to enjoyable, musical, and informed brass playing.

I started taking violin lessons at the age of 7. After years of training, I am currently continuing my violin studies at Utrecht Conservatory. I have also attended music theory classes for 6 years because it is very useful to have some knowledge of it when playing any instrument. Guitar is often taught through the memorization of shapes and repetitive exercises. While these tools can be useful, they do not necessarily help us understand what we are actually doing musically or how the instrument itself really works.

In these lessons, I will help you develop both technical and musical awareness from the very beginning by connecting the ear to the instrument. Rather than separating creativity from technique, we will gradually integrate rhythm, harmony, improvisation, theory, and repertoire into practical music-making!

Guitar is an amazing instrument to quickly delve into musical repertoire while progressively developing a broader understanding of both music and the instrument itself. Furthermore, aside from learning the basics, I will show you catchy grooves, creative accompaniment techniques, and beautiful chord variations across a broad variety of styles ranging from Pop, Rock, Blues, and Folk to Jazz, Prog, Fusion, and World Music.

About me:
I am Nikos and I am a classical guitarist with 15 years of experience. I started playing classical guitar at the age of 10 and from the age of 14, with the supervision of my teacher, I have been helping and guiding younger guitar students, giving me a hands-on experience in teaching from an early age. In 2019, I obtained my soloist diploma from the Hellenic Conservatory of Music and Arts, giving me the right to teach and since then I have been teaching privately. Currently, I am studying with professor Pavel Steidl, at the Royal Conservatoire of the Hague and I have been attending a Music Pedagogy course, as well as courses in Early Music.

Since 2014, I have been attending guitar festivals and academies, giving me the opportunity to learn from some of the most important classical guitarists of our era and also be awarded prizes in national and international competitions, such as the 1st prize in Palaio Faliro guitar festival in Athens in 2020 and the 3rd prize in the 1st International Nikita Koshkin competition in Russia in 2021. In 2024, I was honored to receive a scholarship given each year to two European guitarists, giving me the opportunity to attend the Volterra Project Summer Guitar Institute 2024 in Volterra, Italy.

Music Theory:
In 2020 and 2021, I graduated from the music theory departments of the Hellenic Conservatory with a degree in Music Harmony and a degree in Counterpoint.

Anything that is part of a fundamental understanding of music, e.g. music theory, solfège, rhythm and piano will be taught. For me it is very important that the lessons is specifically made for the students regarding content and length. If asked violin and ballett can be taught as well. In that way the necessary aspects of a well rounded musician can be built up.

I am from Cuba and I am graduated from the Royal Conservatory of the Hague with a Master degree in Classical Double bass.I am currently doing the Academy of NederlandPhilharmonic and Kamerorkest I have been in the world of Classical music since 15 years ago having a complete education in Piano, Theory music double bass and Music History.
